    To me these cuts seem that Beane and McDermott are making it personal about getting rid of Whaley and Rex players instead of making smart football decisions.

    Got to let them make their moves, bring in the players they want and see if it works out. How can you evaluate them if they kept all players hired under the previous regime. Implement the new system, bring in players to fit and see how it works out. I'll give them a little more time than 1 pre-season game before I kick them to the curb!

    To me looks like McD likes Seymour/Gaines more than Darby....maybe Darby not a fit in the new system.

    I'm ok with them blowing this up and rebuilding....heck we haven't won anything with Watkins and Darby.

    Keep him.....he is a marketing genius....every year he is able to sell the hope that this is year and their season ticket sales remain high....this guy could sell ocean view property in the desert.

    Just because they only interviewed 4 doesn't mean they didn't do a bunch a research and pre-work on other potential candidates.....when I hire new managers for my company I keep the interview list to less than 5, but my HR VP and myself do a lot of research and investigation on candidates.

    That's the key...who cares if we like him or not....if the players like him and work hard for him, that is what is important...plus I love how he says everyone must earn their job and the right to win.

    IMO...it's a little premature to stay he's not a fit until he has at least had an interview so they can discuss philosophies, schemes, working styles, etc.

    Exactly....I couldn't care less about them....once Brady is gone and there an average team, their fan base will dwindle!

    With this draft being deep with the positions we need....I would move down and get extra picks and still can get quality players.

    If the OBD really wanted to keep MG they would have put the 2nd rounder tender on him, which IMO they should have but since they didn't it was a mistake but that doesn't mean you compound the mistake by overpaying for a back-up RB...take the 5th round pick and move on.
