  1. Dumba$$.
  2. I also heard that the falcons are willing to trade Julio Jones for a double cheeseburger after that end zone drop last season.
  3. His knee injury wrecked his career. He completely changed his swing post knee surgery, he used to be able to rotate in his front knee, to load back and unleash power, he had to switch to more back-upper body after the knee injury, which then led to back problems. Shame, he was truly incredible. Best ever in his prime, but career he won't touch the Golden bear. I view it as similar to Megatron vs Rice Rice's career and peak were longer than Megatron, but Megatron's peak season stretch was off the charts.
  4. I think Rex Ryan let his relative borrow his car

  5. A GM's job is to win, and to make his fans happy (which winning generally does obv) Pissing fans off though is not generally a good idea as whole. And no I'm not mad all the time, I like our moves so far, but if we take Jackson at #12 I think myself and a huge chunk of fans will be very upset with the team.
  6. Exactly. I would be mad if they took him at 12
  7. I don't disagree But I mean, look at what we have? He's still an upgrade
  8. Drew Lock seems to be the only one of merit that I can think of. Even he's not a top10 projected if I remember correctly. Basically it's an "EJ Manuel year" If we don't go this year, we are waiting until 2020
  9. I don't hate Jackson. I would hate if we traded up to #12 to take Jackson.
  10. Right. The only trade ups that make sense now are #2 if they have 2 guys they love and are okay with, or #3 if they have 3 guys they love and are okay with. Other than that, nothing what would make sense.
  11. Deion Sanders ran like a 4.3 in Timberland's and jeans ? Also, maybe we can get Randy moss at #2, hell he would probably be #1 on the roster still.
  12. I don't disagree that it's a good cast My point was that Tyrod had a very good cast when they were healthy. He had decent stats with them healthy. I think he will have a solid season. I don't think he will turn into an MVP QB though.
  13. Agreed. Him being our "highest paid player" is all context. Let's look at it as: Beane purged all the bad contracts and has been making some good moves on team friendly deals, this isn't a terrible deal, it's just taken out of context. Also, there weren't really many DT available who could contribute as starters, so they paid the guy on a good deal for both sides.
  14. So what you're saying is he isn't a good QB. He had Woods, Watkins, Clay, and shady here in Buffalo. Haley I think is a better OC that Dennison and Roman for sure, but let's not act like he had **** offensive weapons his whole time in Buffalo. Shady is better than anybody the Browns have, and better than Barkley. Technically ours did too, since he held the ball the longest of any QB in football ??
  15. My heart says Murphy. I think the guy wants to be here, wants to play hard, and seems like he will be a good team leader. My head says it was flipping Tyrod for a good pick them signing mccarron. I think aj will at worst be a solid starter with trade value on a cheap contract.
  16. Was just talking to my buddy about this yesterday. He is like "so with all the QB and other fa moves we've made, we still don't have an new WRs or TEs... This is very concerning... I mean Clay shows flashes, but one game he will go for 110 yards, the next game he looks like he isn't even trying and finishes with 1 catch for 5 yards and 6 drops..."
  17. Hey, sorry bud, truly didn't see your question until now. Way south, about 70 miles north of NYC. No season tickets, used to go to games when I was younger, now with a kid, mortgage, and less "disposable income" I'm stuck going to a Bills-Jets game from time to time And apologies if you were not trolling with the opening post, it felt like a troll thread. My thoughts are we trade up and get a QB, they've done too much work to not.
  18. I've been saying this for months. Allen has by far the highest ceiling of the group simply because of his physical gifts. There are certain things that you can't teach a player. I'm not saying he can definitely learn the mechanics/how to read defenses/etc. What I'm saying is the other guys CANNOT "learn" what Allen does have. That's why a lot of the scouts probably love him. Again I'm not advocating to draft him, I'm not saying he will be great, I'm not saying he won't be great. All I'm saying is I wouldn't be surprised if we moved up to take him, and I would be surprised if he lasted past the top5-6.
  19. I think his development is more about his mechanics and defensive reads I think he's going to be really good Did I ever say he was equivalent to Rivers? Nope. Not once. You didn't even remember what YOU said that I responded to. Here, I'll repost it for you: Which my response was that Rivers was drafted #4, and sat. So, your assertion that a top10 needs to play immediately was what i was referring to.
  20. Rivers sat behind Brees. Yes, you can do it.
  21. Yeah it's completely bananas Darnold is listed at #22 Seriously?
  22. Yeah I'm not advocating for or against him. I'm very much just stating what's true about him. -best physically built gifted QB in the draft for a traditional passer (Jackson is obv a better runner) -rocket arm -big build, strong -inconsistent mechanics -inconsistent accuracy due to mechanics -needs at least a full year, maybe 2 before he should be considered ready to start -huge ceiling -low low floor
