Yeah I don't like Rudolph at all, but I would rather him than Jackson. I think even if Jackson is very good, he's got a shorter career, unless he pulls a Cunningham and turns into a pocket QB mid-later career (which is possible)

Yeah I think he will be better than Tyrod, not immediately, but in a year or two he will be. I think he's a late first/early second grade that somebody (az maybe) will reach for.

I think he's going to be better than Tyrod. I just don't like that styles of QB. I think it's too inconsistant to win on a regular basis. When it's clicking, they are really really hard to beat... When they have an off day, they are awful and you have no shot to win. The other problem is having a backup and can fill in if they are hurt. This was seen with Vick, McNabb, even Cunningham. Most backups are solid, accurate, weak armed pocket QB types, and their playstyle is completely opposite to the athletic scrambling QB starter. When the starter has an injury, the backup comes in, and the entire gameplan changes. Not small amounts, but entire diff playbook.. That's a pain in the arse. I think Jackson will be a solid QB overall, above average, but not what I'm interested in settling for.

We know. We weren't beating the Steelers and the Patriots just to get to the Super Bowl. Wasn't happening. Sorry. This I do agree with though. Better coach now, at least defensively (ironically) and preparedness. His offensive mind isn't great, so hopefully daboll transitions well to the NFL. I honestly don't have very high hopes for this season because of the new QB (which I think will be an improvement in the long run, but needs a few games or a whole year to get), lack of WRs/te talent currently (might improve with the draft), and new OC who is coming up from college. A lot of moving parts on the offense, many of which (mccarron/Rookie QB, and daboll) are getting their first taste of full NFL responsibility. I think there will be growing pains, but I would like the pegs to give them 2-3 more years to BUILD the team, and accept that this upcoming season, realistically, should be a regression from last.
