  1. Fair points to be sure Let's also factor in his team was complete trash around him But most males physically mature into their mid 20s He's 22 He hasn't hit his physical peak, but yes, it's easier to project it than with a 18yo Again, Allen scares me, but I can see why teams would take the risk He's def the milqtoast of the top 4
  2. Right, WAS, but currently, he takes a couple of points off because his durability concerns. Concussions are no joke. Your chance of another one increases after every one you've sustained. **Note: I want Rosen. He's my guy in this draft. If we sell the farm for him, I'm good with it**
  3. I think whoever takes him knows he's sitting a year minimum. I also think that he should go high because his physical attributes/arm strength give him the highest ceiling #1? Nah. Top #5-7? Yeah. He reminds me of the 18 year olds that used to get drafted top10 in the NBA. Huge potential. Some panned out (Kobe) Many didn't (Darius miles, kwame brown) Will he be kobe or brown?? If he's Kobe, you're set for 15+ years at QB. If he's Brown you're back to the top 5 for a decade.
  4. I think Lamar Jackson is the highest% chance to bust I think if Josh Allen busts though, he's going to be a nuclear explosion since he will be a much higher pick than Jackson Busting on a guy taken 15-20 isn't as hurtful as a guy you traded multiple picks to move to and acquire
  5. Every time Rosen comes up, you chime in ripping him, because Said and him don't get along, so you have this personal crusade to hate the guy, since you have saban's scrote permanently on your chin. I've noticed. He sidesteps every direct question by either completely ignoring it, or answering with another question. I get straighter answers from my 12 year old.
  6. What the F*CK does your snipped statement from the article have to do with anything??
  7. ?? How is it "probably illegal"? Many business have their own rules that you have to abide by when you join that company. The NFL draft is one of those things you sign up for when you want to work as a player for the NFL. There's nothing "illegal" about it. Just like many large medical practices/hospitals have a "non-compete clause" in their contracts, wherein you cannot work for a competitor in X mile radius on the side, and when you leave the company you have a set time duration and mileage radius you cannot practice in. Your assertion that it's "illegal" makes zero sense.
  8. Talking in private with spies is not innocent though.
  9. Mcshay just put an interesting article up on ESPN with pre draft grades on the last decade on first round QBs, including this year's crop Scores are out of 100 99 Luck 98 Matt Ryan 97 James Winston Sam Bradford RGiii 96 Mark Sanchez 95 Matt Stafford Blaine Gabbert 94 Ryan tannehill Sam Darnold 93 Cam Newton Marcus Mariota 91 Blake Bortles Carson Wentz Jared Goff Josh Rosen Josh Allen 90 Jake locker Manziel Baker Mayfield 89 Flacco Bridgewater Trubisky 88 Deshaun Watson 86 Weeden 85 Christian ponder Paxton Lynch Pat mahomes Josh Freeman 84 Lamar Jackson 78 Tebow 76 EJ Manuel That's his list. Link to read it He talks about their pre-draft report and their eventual NFL career http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2018/story/_/id/23115321/todd-mcshay-nfl-draft-grades-every-first-round-qb-2008-plus-2018-top-qbs
  10. This isn't about some hidden insider stock info. Why wouldn't they give an honest anonymous answer? No NFL team is looking at this list to adjust their decision.
  11. Seriously? I mean if you are, thanks for the answer. (I'm at work and can't watch the video yet) Followup: Why release the list before you get all the answers??
  12. You forgot Mike White and LOLetta being omitted. Also those two teams who rank Allen first must obviously be idiots, since we have so many on this board who are positive he's a 4th round talent at best and a sure-bust. Also why only 24 teams? That's leaving out 25% of the league? (Didn't get to watch video yet just looked at graphic, maybe it's answered in there)
  13. The entire point of your thread was saban not agreeing with Rosen, then you badmouthing Rosen about it.
  14. You made an entire thread about it. So stop playing dumb. https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/203890-sabans-response-to-rosens-comments-regarding-the-demands-of-college-football/
  15. Stop it. We know you don't like him because saint saban doesn't like him. Sad.
  16. Getting the Jets/bills/dolphins too draft him would be the ultimate troll job. Brady wants to throw to him as a wr since they traded cooks and Amendola walked. Or maybe they want a QB who can catch the ball on that trick play they used in the super bowl
  17. Every one of the guys he listed below was #1 or #2 pick in the draft Where did he show "guys drafted in the second round"
  18. His accuracy would wax and want quite often, especially on sideline/out routes Low release point When he missed it was a sail/float Arm strength wasn't top notch, so not the best margin for error Great instincts, good football IQ I thought he should have been a top5 pick, but his inconsistant throws I think hurt that Plus the usual "running QB negatives" which he got labeled with, which was stupid because he was a very solid pocket QB coming out.
  19. Josh Allen is a huge risk. I have NO PROBLEM getting him by the way, I'm not against it at all, but he's a "swing for the fence" because if you miss, he's a big miss. Not every team wants that. I actually tried to edit Jackson into grp2 but it didn't load in
  20. Grouping order to me : Group1 (safe bet, high ceiling, good floor) Rosen Darnold Mayfield Group2 (risky, very high ceiling, low floor) Mahomes Watson Allen Trubisky Group3 (lower ceiling, higher floor, safe bet to be decent backup/average starter) Rudolph
  21. I would love it. I mean Jets still get their choice of 2 of the top 4 QBs, so it wouldn't screw them that badly, but it would allow their division rival a QB also, who just might be better than the one they get
  22. I don't disagree with everything you just said. The guy you had originally quoted said to "screw the Jets" by giving the Bills #2 for #12 and a 5th or 6th rounder to make the Jets look dumb for overpaying. That's what I meant about "not happening" A trade could still happen, just not for that price lol
  23. It would make me really happy if it was. I hate the Giants almost as much as I hate the Jets. They are #1 and #1a on my hate list. Seeing their fans go bananas after they give the pick away would be glorious. I don't think it'll happen though.
  24. I disagree with you. I think the leaks are true. Some leaks are true, some are not. There is honestly no way to tell. Could be a ton of scenarios. Could be the Giants want Barkley, so leaking that they want Darnold could be to tempt the Browns into taking him first, leaving Barkley for #2. Could also be that the Giants actually do want Darnold, which, as you said, would drive up the price of #2. Could also be that the Giants want Allen (just saying, we really don't know who they want) and are trying to drive Cleveland away from him. In the end, I do agree with your second part. I'd be pumped for Darnold, Rosen, Allen or Mayfield. ANY of them would make me happy at this point. Let's just hope we get a top tier prospect and don't wind up grasping for straws.
