  1. I heard you were gug. I actually almost quoted that same part!!
  2. Good read on him. Take the time to read it all. I'm not pushing for or against him. I just thought it was a good read. http://theundefeated.com/features/lamar-jackson-louisville-could-change-the-nfl-if-he-gets-the-chance/
  3. I've said it before. Draft a QB with every pick. Turn OBD into "Thunderdome" Only one man leaves.
  4. Right. It's like buying a car. If you're willing to make concessions and compromise, you can walk away with a deal most times. If you go in drooling over something they have on the lot, and they see you doing that, they will take you over the coals, but you gotta pay sometimes to get exactly what you want. I can listen to n'sync and Bieber. Doesn't mean I like what I'm hearing
  5. Wife. How hot is the wife. If she's like a 7-8/10 then he's probably happy and won't be chasing tail off the field and distracted. If she's. 9-10/10 though she's probably too hot and just riding him for the $$, so you get a wife chattering in the ear like tidwell's wife in Jerry McGuire.
  6. There are what? 7 rounds? So half the league starters in the first 32 picks. The other in the next 172 picks. Math is hard. The rest of your post was quoted poorly so it won't copy down, so I'm going to have to make due with it this way (yours are in red): -"They" are two quite different sets of people. the ones who passed on two QB last year are no longer running the Bills. They didn't "pass" on the FA market. Have you noticed that McCarron is on the roster? Have you noticed that there are several teams with QB who might be traded. Foles anybody? They were not going into this year with Peterman as the #1 QB)) - ((Okay, you should go back and read the OP. He said that they may not have planned on getting one of the "big four" QB's. (.. and which ones are the first 4 is all over the map.)) -(( I don't understand. If there are reasons (see first sentence) why they can't or don't move up...... then (second sentence) it is the failure of "the process"? Please take the wish for an immediate savior down a notch. The "process" (a rational and weighted approach to team improvement) doesn not necessarily have to conform to what you really want.) Foles has been discussed ad-nauseum. They want a first and a third for him. They are more than happy to hold onto him. Stop banging his drum. We did pass on the FA market and took mccarron as an afterthought. He wasn't the plan all along, which is why we waited until after every other QB was signed. McDermott was running the draft last year, Whaley was just there for show. They definitely planned on one of the top QBs. The top 4 are darnold, Mayfield, Rosen, and Allen. The process was to get a top QB. The op is opining that they didn't plan to go big for a QB. I understand sometimes you can't make the trades, that doesn't mean it's not a failure just because nobody else would trade with you. If you have a plan and it fails, that's a failure.
  7. What tuel said. A lot of people say crap just like what you said teef lol
  8. Eli Manning Big Ben Aaron Rodgers Matt Stafford Goff Wentz Rivers Matt Ryan Andrew Luck Watson Winston Mariota Flacco Bortles Cam Newton Alex Smith Mahomes Might be missing some That's 16 of the starters being first round picks. Half the league starters are taken in the first round only. A few others in the second. No not all those guys are elite amazing, but overall it's a pretty good group.
  9. Really? You truly think that they sold all those assets and passed on two QBs last year, then passed on the the FA market just to not take QB? Just stop with the hypothetical bs. The op is proposing the idea that they didn't intend to get a QB this year. That's just plain wrong. Will they get a QB? We don't know until the draft, but if they don't get one, it's because no trades came up that they were able to bite on, or nobody was available that they felt good enough about drafting in that spot. It's a colossal failure of "the process" if they don't get a QB and they know it.
  10. Hot take. We passed on two QBs last year, traded Watkins, Darby, Tyrod, and Glenn to stock up on draft picks with the intent of not drafta QB, and signing Cincinnati's backup QB for the future of the franchise. Stop. They want a QB.
  11. I didn't see him saying "remove all the black players!" Or "black guys shouldn't be in the NFL!" Having a negative opinion of a black player doesn't make you racist. Bro. Stop. The race card has been played You cannot fight that argument. You're obviously racist.
  12. I would jump for joy so high I'd probably pull a muscle.
  13. I think it's a real thing. It's a huge issue and potential bad news if a guy hates the city that drafts him, or doesn't fit well in the local scene. Sometimes guys just don't "click" with a city. My problem with using it against a prospect/using it during scouting is this: There is NO WAY to know whether a guy will "fit" in with a city and it's culture. You can have a guy who looks like he will be a perfect fit, and he never finds his footing, and it's a miserable pairing. You can also have a guy who publicly says he doesn't want to be there (Jim Kelly) then winds up embracing it, and being the epitome of the team and city. Don't pass of talent because you think a guy is a poor fit with the culture of the city. Don't reach for a guy just because you think he'll be a cool guy to have a beer with in the bar.
  14. Thanks dude I respect all yours as well I don't think anybody is dumb for thinking he's no brainier I don't but I get it
  15. Williams stats are better than Jackson. 12 seasons (167 games) vs 8 (107 games) 5 pro bowls vs 0 pro bowls Everything else they are equal on. I'm good with that. If we are going to turn it into a popularity contest and a "wall of boy scouts" then sure, Fred's a no brainier, and the juice gets cut loose.
  16. As do I. As I've said a few times, I don't think he's a "no brainer" and to me he's borderline. I also see why people want him up there. If he gets put up there, great, awesome, high five Freddie. I sure as hell wouldn't want to get hit by the block that he dumpstered Watt with. The guy definitely played his butt off. He was basically "Rudy on the Bills".
  17. I don't disagree with you as a whole. As I said, I feel it is a combination of stats and all the other stuff. I think his stats were just not there, at least enough to make him a "no brainer" in my eyes. KW is a no brainer to me. As I also said, if Fred was put on the wall I wouldn't fight it, as I said he's borderline to me. I just don't see him as a "no brainer"
  18. It's a combination. The stats aren't there. The rest is. I for me he's not a no brainier, I think he's borderline, but I wouldn't be upset if he was enshrined in the WoF. Some of y'all need to look at statistics once in a while instead of going solely on emotion.
  19. Fouts led the NFL in passing yards 4 straight seasons. TDs twice. He's #15 all time passing yards. #2 all time single season until the passing rules inflated today's stats. Archie Manning isn't in the HoF last I checked.
  20. You literally just said Jackson had the best vision of any back in NFL history. Seriously? I have laid out factual things regarding Fred. Yes, his grit and heart could make a case for Bill's wall of Fame, but everybody is acting like he was Barry Sanders stats wise. The top 2 were over 10k yards Fred had 5k in 7 years Shady will pass him for #3 as a Bill in his 5th year barring a major injury.
  21. We have guys in this thread saying he's was better than Marshawn Lynch too. Reality and facts do not matter here.
  22. Yeah. Tyrod was dumped only for that game. Right.
