  1. I just know that we've added: -Star -Murphy -Davis -Edmunds -Phillips That's a pretty solid core of additions So, unless I'm missing something, we are looking at: CB: White Davis Safety: Poyer Hyde LB: Milano Lorax Edmunds DE: Hughes Lawson Murphy DT: Star Williams Phillips That's a really solid top 13 on defense Like really, really solid.
  2. I bet he would have caught that pass in the SB that the ballerina dropped ?
  3. As did I. Good read. Spot on how I feel about him. I was a bit upset at first, and a little miffed in hindsight that AZ got Rosen later for a 3rd and 5th, when we paid both 2nds... The Edwards highway robbery we pulled off though offsets that!! Go Allen, go Edmunds, go go Bills!
  4. I know man He's got that Rodgers/Romo/ben rocket during throw during a scramble
  5. What are you talking about? You can't say it will be a massive steal in a few years because the contract is 4 with a 5th option Running backs aren't suddenly going to be making $15mil in 3 years.
  6. Thurmanator probably is drinking bleach right now. Not only did the bills trade up and take Allen, Rosen went before #12, but Rudolph went #12 IN THE THIRD!!! His entire thread crusading about "Rosen and Rudolph will be available at #12 and the bills will absolutely take Rudolph" was a hoot. I remember him calling me an idiot many times for laughing at him in it.
  7. I feel like people think you and I are joking.
  8. His full name is: Equanimeous Tristan Imhotep J. St. Brown
  9. Where's thurmanator who said he would go to the bills @ #12 while we passed on Rosen who would still be available then?? I thought MAYBE somebody would reach in round 2, even as a project backup haha.
  10. Need to give him at least 4-6 games before his first concussion.
  11. So is Edmunds. It's an odd perspective with Edmunds is standing closer to the camera. Watch their press conf video, they are the same height, Edmunds is just about 15-20 lbs beefier.
  12. Tom Brady Warren Moon Alex Smith Jeff Garcia Derek Carr Tony Romo (prob a bunch more) There were rumors he didn't want to go to the Browns, and that he considered staying in school another year to avoid them. They probably just saw that and said "pass" I really hope you're trying to troll.
  13. We have an extra 4th (possibly) from KC on the ragland trade, and an extra 7th from carolina. I don't really see teams burning up the phone lines for those picks.
  14. Snipped from an ESPN article: "But Barkley instantly becomes among the highest-paid players at his position and needs to perform at a Pro Bowl-level immediately to be worth the investment. This also happens to be an extremely deep position in this year’s draft; the Giants could have taken a quality running back in the second or third round" He's making as much as shady. RB is is less valuable than a elite pass rusher. If gettleman is so happy with Stewart why draft Barkley? They have over 11.5 million committed to Barkley and Stewart now this year. Chubb would have been a home run for them, replacing jpp and immediately turning their pass rush into something dangerous. "QB" and "stopping the QB" are the two most important things in the NFL. Great player, but not at #2 with QBs and Chubb available.
  15. Allen had a fractured collarbone on his throwing side in high school, and again freshman year in college. The college one seemed to be a freak accident (shattered by a player's helmet which snuck between his own pads and helmet). It was fixed, and he has had no issues since. He had some minor soft tissue (probably a capsular strain) on his R shoulder towards the end of last season, missed 2 games as a precaution, but no pain or issue otherwise. Rosen had a surgical repair of his throwing shoulder his sophmore year, causing him to miss quite a few months, and it was deemed, from what I can find, to be either a labral tear or a rotator cuff tear. This seemed to have healed up fine, with no issues his final year playing due to his shoulder, the issue was his concussions. Two concussions, very close together, are bad. Very bad. Concussions multiply the future risk of more every time you sustain one. He has had two prior to even stepping foot on an NFL field. That is VERY risky, and 90% the reason he dropped. So, while Allen may be the bigger risk in terms of actual ability to play QB at the NFL level (though he has the highest ceiling), his injury risk is nowhere near that of Rosen's. It's hard to play QB when you're knocked unconscious repeatedly *see steve young*. Dude was tellin' me this in another thread, complaining that Buffalo traded up for a "guy who would have been there at #12". I agree with you Rush, that Allen and Rosen both would have been gone. Miami would have taken one I'm sure of it, and AZ was obviously trading up ahead of us, which means we would have been left with neither. The other flawed logic that you didn't go into is that "6 players vs 3 players" doesn't mean anything. #12, #22, two second rounders, and two third rounders is 6 players sure, but they are less "sure thing" and players than #7 and #16 in terms of talent. I would rather have two picks in the top 16 than #12, #22, #53 and #56.
  16. No. I honestly was okay with all of them. I preferred Rosen myself, but stop acting like it's the end of the world.
  17. -Bradford probably won't make it through preseason without getting hurt for the season, so Rosen probably will start based on that alone lol -Darnold most likely will be groomed by McCown, and they will throw Teddy to the wolves until he's ready. -Mayfield and Tyrod are making about the same $$ I think, but I'm sure they will bring him in slowly. -Every report I've seen has Allen "competing for a starting job" but I think that's not a testament to the lack of confidence people have in AJ vs confidence in Allen to be ready. -Jackson might start at wr for them day one, jkjk. I think Darnold has the least chance of starting only because of the other two on the roster. Starting day one has nothing to do with when they were taken in the case of a QB. Many high QBs don't start day one, or at least they shouldn't, since it's the biggest learning curve of any position when moving from college to NFL
  18. Poona Ford should have been a top 10 first round pick just because of his name.
  19. No I'm not. The general consensus from just about every "expert" is 60%. He dropped it to 58% to fit his narrative. Favre, Marino, etc are too old of sample sizes. Rules and offensive scheme's have changed btw. Just like in the NBA,Jordan vs LeBron isn't fair because zone defenses were illegal when Jordan played.
  20. You won't have to. This team shouldn't have high expectations this year due to the QB change being very up in the air, between mccarron and Allen it's a big unknown, with Allen not expected to even start, and the OLine being in shambles. Overall regression should be expected. You obviously aren't saying we are SB contenders, you seem to be saying that we won't be terrible, and might take a step back, with obvious learning bumps from the QBs, right?
  21. I know hap I was just pointing out that jrober dropped the 60% "magic number" down to 58% to fit his narrative
