  1. I still can't believe he's Derek's older brother.
  2. Did they bring in another QB other than Josh and aj?
  3. He's far from a bust. He's played 3 seasons, one of which he was injured the majority of it. First two seasons (full time rookie starter) 8000+ passing yards 50 td 33 int 7 rushing to 18 lost fumbles Eli Manning first two full seasons (skipping his half season rookie starting) 7000 passing yards 48 td 35 int 1 rushing to 18 fumbles Peyton Manning 7800 yards 52 td 43 int 2 rushing to 9 fumbles Matt Ryan 6400 yards (missed two games) 38 td 25 int 2 rushing td 11 fumbles Those are the first two seasons of some pretty awesome QBs. I guess they should have moved on from them also, since Winston's stats are better and you're saying they should move on from him too.
  4. I heard they are already clearing roster space for whoever we cut, and giving him a locker next to Brady.
  5. Are you kidding me? Winston is far from a bust. He played 75% of last season with a shoulder injury.
  6. You're f*cking kidding, right? You don't think a clone Cam Newton, producing like him is good enough? You're really asking that? He has a league MVP and carried them to the f*cking Superbowl.
  7. Go watch the one on Minkah Fitzpatrick. Dolphins got a heck of a kid with him also. Derrius Guice is a really sad but awesome story as well for those who don't know it.
  8. Seriously. I don't know how much of it is scripted BS, but whatever, it gave me goosebumps. I'm rooting for this kid to light up OBD. When his dad was talking about him pumping the crowd up, I was envisioning him out there, raising the roof, getting the Bills Mafia riled up as he's marching down the field. thanks teddy!
  9. I think it's a worthy risk, even if he fails. It's a home run swing at the most important position in the game. If he connects, it's a team that's set 15 years. If he fails, well, try again soon. I think he did a really good job with the first round!!
  10. I think the grades are always a direct reflection of the guys doing the mocks. If a guy doing the mock loved Allen, for example, he thinks we got a steal at #7 and only giving up 2 seconds (I agree btw). If a guy hated Allen (like CBS sports had him as the #5 QB behind Lamar and a late first/early second round grade) then they will hate our draft and grade us poorly.
  11. Agreed. I give it: Buffalo B+ (day 1 was an A+ for me, I liked Phillips in the third too. The rest of the draft was a bunch of garbage to me) Jets A for darnold, I didn't see the rest of their picks Miami A for Fitzpatrick Ne had a really good draft too imo AFC East has a good draft overall
  12. I bet AJ is too. I bet he already getting fit for a wheelchair.
  13. Basically. How's next year's wr crop looking?? I also don't have faith he will last the season being our Swiss cheese oline I hope he has his Aflac paid up
  14. Well. I will stand by my statement that the way it was worded was the dumbest thing I've seen on here I will also say that I don't think you're an idiot, which was why it surprised me that you said that. ??
  15. Your wording is that he served as their QB coach which caused their careers to decline and fade.
  16. That's a ridiculous stretch. Both of those guys were already established. Daboll changed nothing with their careers. Pennington had an up and down career prior to daboll, and played most of 2007 on a a sprained ankle (week 4). Favre was 38 years old, already Hof bound, on the decline, and being replaced by Rodgers. He started 8-3 with the Jets, injured his throwing arm, then played through a throwing arm injury, which he played awful during this stretch, eventually needing surgery to repair a torn bicep on his throwing arm. Pennington is a stretch, Favre is completely absurd. I cannot believe you are blaming daboll for a 38+ year old injured Favre's decline. Has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever read on here.
  17. If Beane had "pulled a Whaley" he would have had to trade both #12 and #22 and next year's 1st, then drafted Lamar Jackson.
  18. New England's yearly "plug and play 1,100 year slot receiver" incoming. I swear they are like the passing version of the old shannahan broncos, where they would swap to an unknown RB every year who would eclipse 1k yards, then get cut, replaced by a no name, who would go for 1k yards again, while the former bronco was terrible on his new team.
  19. I think we should also go for Jerry Rice. The dude killed it on dancing with the Stars a couple years ago, he can't be worse than what we have.
  20. I think that even if he's the clear cut better player in camp and preseason, he's going to get annihilated behind our sorry excuse for an oline, so I agree with you in that respect of playing him being a mistake. Mccarron was basically signed as cannon fodder until we fix the oline. Hoping other team's post draft castoffs will become solid starters isn't the greatest way to improve a team. Agreed.
  21. I'd sign Andre Reed and Shannon Sharpe at this point.
  22. Zay was "sure handed" also...
  23. Yep. I wanted him last round. At least 3-5 guys I wanted over this guy.
  24. You have to have any depth to have added depth Ok not even sure we can field a full set of WRs or a full OLINE with what's on the roster
  25. Jesus probably
