Over aged? He just turned 24. There is no man. Me and Kirby literally just discussed it. He is of the opinion that you stick with two guys, and sign a Matt Moore if somebody gets hurt. I would rather just keep Peterman on a cheap contract than scramble and hope you find a equivalent backup if the need arises. It's a difference of opinion. You have a completely unproven former backup in AJ, a rookie who you don't want to destroy in Allen, and a cheap contract 24 yo in Peterman who you can use as a sacrificial lamb if need be. So unless they are struggling for roster space, I see no reason to cut him. That's literally it. No agenda. Stop acting like I'm on my knees bowing to St Nate.

Do we have the worst QB situation in the league?
SouthNYfan replied to Seanbillsfan2206's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was throwing to: AJ green Tyler eifert Marvin Jones Mohammad Sanu RB was Giovanni Bernard and hill who I think rushed for like 1500 combined and had The QBs he played against were: Pitt : Ben (loss) who went 282 with 0td 1int (had a bad game) Sfo: Blaine Gabbert (win) who tossed 1 rd 0 int Deb: osweiler (loss) who actually threw for 299 with 1 td 0int Bal: Ryan mallet (win) who had a typical "mallet game" of 292 with 1 td 2 int Playoffs he didn't even have a very good game, the defense shut down Ben again. Let's stop acting like he set the world on fire and went out there keeping pace with the elite QBs for those games Ben was the only QB he faced who wasn't complete garbage, he had a stacked offense and the #2 defense in the NFL in points given up, behind only Seattle. -
Agreed Backing up to what somebody said earlier, I think AJ is guaranteed a spot Nate is on a bubble but I think they keep him bc like I said I prefer him to the other throwaways out there. I also think that because we have such a huge ?? At QB is why we keep all 3, but yes, most teams with an entrenched starter don't.

We will agree to disagree then. I see no reason to cut him, and we are just arguing back and forth on something that we just flat out disagree on. I would rather have a depth chart of McCarron/Allen/Peterman than McCarron/Allen + *insert name here* if one of the top guys gets hurt. I will agree that none of the guys not named allen will ever be more than #2 option at best for Buffalo.

A few of those teams that employed 2qbs picked up a third, so it was probably about 14-15 teams that ran with two. They all had zero question marks at starting QB. There is no reason to not keep AJ and Nathan. I would rather keep a guy who might get better and is young and cheap than emergency sign Matt Moore if our starter goes down or sucks. If his cap # doesn't matter then why cut him? C'mon man there is no agenda with me. My only point is that he's a cheap backup option who is already on the roster, and is young so still might improve to be a serviceable backup. That's literally my only hope for him. So no, I have no agenda. Keep trying.

Peterman. You need 3 QBs. Especially when you have a rookie you don't want to ruin by throwing him to the wolves if the starter gets hurt. Moore would be $1+mil NFL minimum bc of his years of experience. Peterman is 800k a year We take $200k in dead cap to cut him. That means cutting him and signing Moore is a net of $1.2+ for Moore vs 790k for Peterman. Stick with the young guy who might improve.

I don't understand the want to move on from young guys on cheap deals. He's making less than 800k a year, has 3 years (including this upcoming) at that price, I see zero reason to not just keep him as insurance backup until the end at least. You aren't going to get a guy for that cheap to replace him. Dude. He only has a $3.0 million cap hit and $4.9 in a dead cap hit if they release him. Why would they spend $1.9 MORE in cap to cut a guy who hasn't even played a regular season game for them yet?? Y'all need to look at contracts before posing these suggestions.

That's why we didn't trade our 2019 ? I wonder if AJ is a worried as we are? I bet he paid up his Aflac just to be sure. -

People love to give up on young players early nowadays. They forget that we have him for about 2 mil a year for 3 more seasons (including this upcoming one) Might as well let it play out. This year is probably wash because of the QB change, but would still expect some return to his sure handed college ways

Tom was so excited to have finally received his invitation to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry that he unpacked his grandfather's dress robes and tried them on. -

Mayfield spilled some sauce on his crotch, and spent the rest of the visit grabbing at it. Rosen got in an argument with the server about how they shouldn't be called "Buffalo wings" because "buffalos don't have wings" He then fractured his wrist trying to open the "importedranch dressing' jar, which he had brought himself. Rudolph tried tossing the eaten wings into the trash, but kept missing, and said he was used to a "more wide open" can. Kyle Lauletta tried the same thing as Rudolph, but he couldn't reach the can. Lamar Jackson ate them with Bleu cheese, but screwed up calculating the tip on the check (wonderlic nod) so much that his mom finally just grabbed the check and handled it. Riley Ferguson wasn't even allowed to eat, when he showed up and told them his name for the reservation they said "who? I'm not even sure you're supposed to be here"

I'm not talking about trading up. I'm talking about not waiting until the third round for a guy they supposedly had a "first round grade" on. Letting a draft "fall to you" would be grading a guy, and not trading up higher than where you think he should go. If they felt he was a "first round grade" then why not take him in the second? I understand passing on the first because they might have had edmunds higher than Rudolph, for example, but it's extremely unlikely they had their second round pick as a first round grade as well, which meant Rudolph was rated below their second round guy, aka not a "first round grade"

They bought a team, together, with the $$ from the sale of the company which THEY owned. I think you were wronged by a woman, or angry your boss is a woman.
