Many times an ACL can be torn and not know it was that bad. Asymptomatic ACL tears are common, and can show up during a "cleanup scope" for example. -
Kyle Williams coming up NEXT on Jim Rome

I can get on board with that. -

I really didn't know he still did haha I'm surprised somebody hasn't punched him in the mouth. -
Yep. They were. There are many great QBs who were also terrible in their first two seasons. Would I bet the future on him? No way. Your assertion that he doesn't even deserve a chance based on such a small sample size is not backed by history as a whole. Almost all QBs were dogsh*t at first. No need to add the condescending "fwiw" after every line, since mine was in no way condescending. Are you upset somebody doesn't agree with you?

How many starts will rookie first-round QBs get?

I feel like this happened with a guy recently... With unfavorable results.. His name rhymes with "pathan neeterman"... -

Jared Goff says otherwise. So do Philip Rivers and Eli Manning. Some guys are day 1 starters, and only need to develop in game skills. Other guys just aren't ready week one, and are instead adjusting some fundamental stuff before they get thrown to the wolves and reinforce bad habits. -
I think he's referring to the marijuana and illegal weapons charges. Btw, neither of which I think means "questionable character" only "questionable judgement" which we've all had before, especially at a young age. Good for the charges getting dropped. Is it possible she lied on the stand? Sure. Does it matter anymore? Nope. It's done with, everybody should be over it. Hope he can move on from all of it and have a good career.

Yes, those common things are cheap. To eat an actual healthy, balanced, nutritious diet, the stuff is expensive, especially when you're a pro athlete who needs 6k+ calories a day. You also need to supplement full vegan with pills most times for essential vitamins and Amino acids. Having said that he makes $$$ even after taxes. He can stuff it.

[Vague Title]Our bills need to consider this

Or maybe he declined an offer to come in and talk. Nobody seems to think of this. -
Oh yeah, I was not saying he is Deion, I was just saying that in terms of the style, it's very feast or famine (that's how Deion was too, he gave up a bunch of big plays, but also made a ton of them, and provided more value than negative, Peters I'm not sure about that though, since he's not on Deion's level) what?
-
Peters reminds me of deion Sanders, very aggressive, makes incredible plays that he shouldn't even be able to, that make your jaw drop. Then he blows a coverage that a backup could make in his sleep. He's very feast-famine. Some people want that, and like it, others want consistency every down. I like a playmaker like Peters, but he needs to have a "safety net" (pun intended) behind him, a solid, reliable safety to clean up his mistakes, because he will make them, but his turnover potential is just such a weapon.

Exactly. I'll use the NBA for another example. James harden has long been regarded as one of the worst defenders in the NBA, a veritable turnstile in man and standard zone coverage. This year, with the help of Chris Paul (top5 all time defensive PG) they changed the entire team defensive system to "switch style man-zone hybrid" where nobody has a true man or zone, just a bunch of roaming defensive assignment switches. Guess what? He finished the season in the top10 of defensive zone analytics for his position. Finding the right system for a player's skillset is crucial.

I'll take Mrs. Brady over Mrs. Mccarron. I disagree. -
Hand size Looks good in shorts I didn't know Allen only played 6 games in college. Great sample size. I heard that Nick Foles is the best QB in history by somebody who just watched the SB. Try harder.

Josh Rosen already impressing in Arizona.
SouthNYfan replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't disagre fully. McDermott might have more leeway depending on whether or not he had much input in Allen (though I suspect he did) I think Beane gets leeway if every other move works well. -

Darnold will be put in there too, people will b*tch we didn't trade up to #2 to get him if he's better than Allen. -

You made a general statement about everybody in the NFL being dumb.
