  1. The point is, was Shady conspiring to participate in a felony? Did he tell his friend "yo, you gonna dress up in black, rob my house"? or Did he tell his friend "go get XYZ from the house, I don't feel like dealing with that b*tch and I'm thinking she's gonna try and pawn my stuff once she gets evicted" If his intent was to commit a hardcore robbery/felony then yeah, but again, that's a big leap in either direction.
  2. Which was what I was stating. It's on the onus of the defendant to prove that there was a crime intended to be committed. If Shady was just having them get his own possessions, then he might be completely in the clear. Also, that bank situation, Barney escalated that shi* really quickly. He went off the rails really fast.
  3. Or somebody taking a dump.
  4. It must be true then? The onus is on the defense to prove intent if he told somebody to "take" the jewelry back.
  5. Not necessarily. They would have to prove he intended for force/injuries to be in the equation, he doesn't have to prove that he said they weren't.
  6. Very fair. I will accept that. I loved Fred. I've thought about "wall of fame" for him for a while. I'd give it to him. I'm not completely sold on it, but I also wouldn't argue if he was put up there. The dude was a harda$$ and always gave it 150%.
  7. I love Fred. He was a very solid player. I would say borderline star for his career, with a couple of very good years, and one standout season.
  8. Agree completely. I'm honestly in the same boat as you, with "what we know is there is a situation" and that's about it. We don't know who beat her up, or who put them up to it, or if they took it upon themselves. It's a really crazy situation, with wayyyyyyyyyyyy too many variables to even make any legit speculation. You can't balance an equation that is nothing but variables, I mean you can try, but it usually doesn't end well.
  9. Again, it depends. If he told somebody to go pick up the stuff, none of those are in play. If the person took it upon themselves to go Scarface, then it's going to be very hard to prove he told them to do it.
  10. So I actually did LOL when I read Hap's response to me. I really thought you were correcting my grammar, and not stating that LOL probably shouldn't have been used in that context there, and after rereading my post I see how it was vague what I meant. I was laughing at the notion that people think that if it turns out shady was sending somebody to get stuff from his house, and that person took it upon themselves to go Scarface on the residents, it's as bad as what Rice did (which was awful).
  11. It was "ray rice punched a woman in the face, knocked her out, and tried to drag her down the hall unconscious, so let's stop acting like if we find out McCoy sent somebody to get some stuff and the guy took it upon himself to go gangster on her it's all McCoy's fault and he should be crucified and blowing it outta proportion"
  12. I'm sorry Mom. I will try to use correct grammar in the future. Oh wait, I don't care. Hah! Good one man. I mean he did get her outta the elevator, then he panicked and dropped her when he saw a bystander approaching. The Sharper dig though, total zinger!!
  13. I dunno Rice straight Tyson'd a chick in an elevator on camera, then dragged her unconscious body down the hall lol
  14. Agreed I was just speaking hypothetical Like Chris Rock said though... Women and love makes your do crazy things "If you've never stood in front of the mirror, looking at yourself, holding a shovel and a bag of lime, and the only thing that stopped you was an episode of CSI 'damn, those n****s is thorough' then you ain't never been in love"
  15. It's cutting off your nose to spite your face. If the Bills believe him, and I'm sure they know things we don't, then I see no harm in keeping him. If he winds up guilty of something here, then you cut ties immediately. I don't see it being a problem unless they know he's guilty, behind the scenes, and choose to keep playing him anyway, until the court settles it. We saw this with Ray Rice. Roger claimed to know nothing, then the video came out, then it came out that Roger saw the video BEFORE he claimed to not know anything. That's what causes problems. It's not the act, it's the cover-up, that causes the most backlash.
  16. Exactly. "If he had anything to do with it" is a darned broad swath. It's his house, so he already has "something to do with it". I think that if he told somebody to go get the stuff, and they took it upon themselves to go thuglife burglar, then I'm not so keen on crucifying him. Would you?
  17. They call me "tater salad"
  18. Exactly bubba. He has the $$ why wouldn't he get the lawyer? Christ I got one for a speeding ticket (21 over in a school zone... It was 530 am I didn't realize the zone changed from 55 to 30) because it was worth it to not risk losing my license. The lawyer is a drop in the bucket $$wise for him, why would he risk his career over it? If he's guilty, he needs that lawyer to work some magic for him. If he's innocent, the faster it's over the better, and a great lawyer can do that for you. Said this many pages ago. For anybody who feels that is too crazy, I recommend googling "tawana Brawley" and then telling me crazy frame jobs don't exist.
  19. Op must have been day drinking...
  20. I ain't sayin' she a gold digger... ...but she ain't messing with no broke...
  21. Depends on how clearly innocent he can be proven. If it's clearly that she faked it all then I'm sure he'll have a job. I said this to my wife last night... "I wonder if she went fight club in the bathroom after the home invader locked her in there"
  22. Charged and convicted are not the same thing.
  23. Very true. I doubt he will be "finished" though as row33 said What the ever-loving crap are you rambling about? Your statement makes no sense
  24. You said he's finished regardless of the outcome. If everything is innocent then I'm sure he'll be fine.
  25. Explain your logic here.
