Khalil Mack holding out... in Buffalo
SouthNYfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Explain how there is 0% chance they'd let him get away? He's an UFA after this season. He can do whatever he wants after this year. If they feel he's definitely going to walk then they are definitely going to accept offers. Is it likely he will get traded? No. Is it likely he doesn't come back after this year? Yes. -

I'm thinking top5 if it all clicks. Loved the Phillips pick. Still have a lot of questions to answer about the defense though. -how quickly will Edmunds transition to grasp the NFL schemes? MLB is huge for McD 's system -how will vontae Davis perform? He was very subpar last year, and people are forgetting his good EJ Gaines played when healthy, he was a big part of the passing defense -can Murphy return to form? He's missed time and had a big injury -can star return to form? He's been on a downtrend the last couple years, so hoping McD can bring him back up form That's some big questions, but if they all work out in our favor, this will be a special defense -

We have a ton next year and he's still under contract this year. There is plenty to sign him to an extension that starts next year. The highest paid players in the league all revolve around the passing game. -throwing the ball (QB) -catching the ball (WRs) -hitting the QB (pass rushers) -stopping the pass once it's thrown (CB/safeties) These are the 4 major positions where an truly elite player makes a massive impact on games, and also where the drop-off from "top5 elite" to "next tier" is very noticeable, which is why the top guys get$$$$$$ ^^^^^^ -

Top 10 biggest traitors in Buffalo Bills history

Rex drove him away, so I don't really count that. Williams made the pro bowl 2 of the 4 years with us. Last year doesn't count, as Rex ruined him. Williams sack totals were: 10.5, 13.0, 14.5, 5.0. He was plenty productive with us. Gilmore was a darn good corner, including a pro bowl his last year. You sound like "sour grapes" are poisoning your mind. -

You realize the jags had playoff wins before 2017, right? 5 previous playoff wins, and went to two conference championship games (1997 and 1999). -
Barry was not the problem with the Lions. He signed a 6 year extension, to which the Lion's front office proceeded to followup by dismantling the team around him, knowing they would continue to sell tickets with Barry there 4 more years. He asked to be traded, they refused, offered to pay back $5.5 of his $11 mil signing bonus if they released him, they refused, so he retired with 4 years left on his deal. Detroit refused to let him out of the deal. He was unable to be signed by another team until after that contract expires, which meant he was 34+ and hadn't touched a football in 4+ years. I guess his NFL MVP was fake news huh? You honestly have no clue what you are talking about. Could play entire career without an ACL (fully torn) If he had an 85% tear (docs will say that) then it was definitely finished off the first or second week he played on it.

Well after last year, we know a "no QB offense" doesn't work, so why not go full swing the other way?

Great speech. “When I look across this arena, and when I talk to people, you don’t need to be a Russell Wilson or an Aaron Rodgers to make a difference. Every single person in this room can be a difference-maker. You can be just a normal person who gets up every morning and goes to work, you can be a difference-maker. Put a smile on those faces. That's how I try to treat every day, every patient I see at my job as a PT. It's tough, and draining, but when you can help somebody get better, even just a little bit, it's worth it. Pay it forward.

"Thomas told the fan that it was actually a brace that he wore after tearing his ACL in 1986. The back would undergo an arthroscopic procedure that year, but avoided major knee surgery. Thomas said he wore the brace as a way to avoid having major surgery and missing time. " He also claims it was "85% torn" and that he only had it scoped. If it was 85% then he certainly finished off the tear sometime that year or early on in the NFL. That's just a medical fact, it would have finished off. Playing without an ACL is very possible, and over strengthening the surrounding muscles (namely the hams, gastroc, and imo) can make up for that lack of ligament stability, the issue is it presents a huge risk when your muscles are fatigued to the other structures (PCL, MCL, LCL, popliteal muscle, meniscus primarily). His way of describing it just sounds like Uncle Rico throwing a pigskin a quarter mile.

Should We Make a Run @ Le'Veon Bell in 2019?

he'll be 27 when the season starts next year. he's not 33. he's not completely wrong. he puts up the #'s of a top RB and a #2 receiver. he wants too much $$, but he's also worth more than what typical RB's get. -

Thanks man. I didn't know about the substitute service, but my father always told me to serve it to the primary tenant when I did so. Also I'm sure this is his first eviction proceeding, and was probably trying to do so without a lawyer, so probably didn't even know the sheriff's could do it. Just guessing. -

Lawyers are not required when filling eviction papers, though they are highly recommended, as they make sure there are no mistakes in the paperwork before filling. I have filed eviction notices for my father many times, the notice is notarized by him, and the filing is just paying a clerk fee, they stamp it, and give your a receipt with a file reference# so it can be found by the court when needed. The biggest issue is it was served to a 16 year old, which is still a minor in Georgia, but if she claims she saw the notice (aka the kid delivered it to her) then they will probably ask her why she didn't follow-up on it. I think the red flag was when the party location was determined to be at a mobile site called "bang bus" -

Sorry JohnC, thanks for the correction. I kept putting her as the defendant in my mind because she was the "victim" I did mean that HER side needed to prove it.
