  1. Better then the Tyrod nut riders (Sorry I had to bring back our old rivalry, I'm just joking) I agree his ceiling is a poor man's Chad. My question is this: Do we run with the poor man's Chad until the oline looks better so that we don't damage Allen?? I'm looking at Peterman like a solid, cheap, winter beater vehicle right now. You didn't pay much for it, and you're just hoping it gets the job done and keeps working just a little while longer until the bad weather is over so that you don't ruin your new Ferrari. Peterman is the beater we hope makes it through the first 5-7 games of our schedule, which is brutal, so that we don't have to take the Ferrari out of the garage until we want to. Allen is the man. Nathan Beaterman.
  2. Edmunds is a rookie who turned 20 after the draft and was known to be very raw coming in, so while I'm not happy with his play so far, I'm also not as concerned as I am with Star, a guy with a few years under his belt, who's had one good season, and since has regressed ever season thereafter, which is not a good sign, since he was one of the absolute worst D lineman in the NFL last year when looking at advanced metrics. I'm much more worried about the $50+ million we gave Star with the hopes that his one good season was the truth and not a fluke. (I do agree with your that I had hoped Edmunds would be further along as of now though)
  3. So should we start Nate against the chargers so Allen doesn't die?
  4. Foster having a helluva game, amirite?
  5. Agreed. I don't think beane is big on crazy splash signings, but I do think he'd open the pocketbook for a guy like mack/donald if they were available, especially with a defensive minded coach in McDermott
  6. Agreed on their cost. Beane has been taking lower cost gambles on injury return players because we had no cap room and had a bunch of dead money. We have a ton of room next year and I'm sure he'd have no problem going for a big guy like Mack or Donald if they were available. Look what he spent on Star.
  7. Right, but how many were stars, he's talking like it's a regular thing for them to turn into Hof players. Also he's asserting that Foster made a bunch of plays last game, he didn't. 0 catches 0 yards. Multiple clear blunders. I'll take your word on the # of udfa players in the SB, but do you have a list of them? Like to see who they were **Added a list** Patriots undrafted: QB Brian Hoyer, RB Brandon Bolden, FB James Develin, WR Danny Amendola, WR Chris Hogan, WR Bernard Reedy, TE Jacob Hollister, C David Andrews, OT Cole Croston, OT LaAdrian Waddle, DT Adam Butler, LB Eric Lee, LB Nicholas Grigsby, LB James Harrison, LB Brandon King, CB Johnson Bademosi, CB Malcolm Butler, P Ryan Allen Eagles undrafted: RB LeGarrette Blount, RB Corey Clement, WR Marcus Johnson, TE Trey Burton, DE Bryan Braman, DT Destiny Vaeao, LB Dannell Ellerbe, S Rodney McLeod, LS Rick Lovato
  8. Very few udfa make it big as stars anymore. It was much more common even 15 years ago before the instant media and smart phone boom. Guys rarely go under the radar anymore, and the ones that do (even throughout history) all have one thing in common from what I can tell: THEY DIDN'T PLAY AT A BIG SCHOOL They went under the radar because nobody really saw them play. Big schools rarely if ever gave a guy who goes udfa then makes it big, exceptions would most likely be a guy who was a stud, had a big injury, and dropped in the draft due to that concern. Foster played at Alabama, so everybody and their mother has seen him play, he didn't go udfa because he was under the radar. He went udfa because he didn't show enough to warrant even one of the 32 7th round picks this year. The entire bills fanbase would be ecstatic if he was good, even better if he's great. Nobody is against that. Everybody is just all over you because your opening post makes it seem like we just found Randy Moss as a udfa, even though we all saw him sh*t the bed against the Panthers last week. If he had come out with 100 yards and a TD we'd be excited. Instead he looked terrible. Wake up man.
  9. Your rationale and your lack of basic understanding of his drafts work astounds me. If you think he's going to be a star you don't wait until he a udfa to sign him... You draft him. He's basically a $1 scratch off ticket right now. Obviously. All the best players are udfa.
  10. That's why they waited to take him as an udfa, right?
  11. Coach is probably upset this video made it to YouTube, now his secret weapon, Foster, will be known to everybody. It's crazy. I bet the Browns are really upset they missed on him. Then he didn't make the play, because he had no awareness of his feet in regards to the sideline.
  12. I can link 500000000 videos of guys making great plays in college too, only to fail in the NFL. It's pretty sad at this point that you are trying to keep this going.
  13. An excellent football play would be an actual reception on both plays. He had zero awareness of the sideline and made no effort to stay in on the first one. The second he made no effort to catch it.
  14. He probably thinks the Bills won SBXXV, because by his definition, Norwood made the kick, since he had enough leg for it, even if it doesn't go between the uprights. Changing definitions of rules to fit around what he wants. Sounds just like what saban does with recruiting, so this isn't surprising.
  15. You are just terrible at this. The first one was caught as in it made it into his hands, yes. Regarding it as a catch when talking about football, which is a "reception" then no, it wasn't. He didn't make an excellent play because he didn't pay attention to his location by the sideline, and didn't even attempt to keep his feet in bounds. Thusly, his stat like read a fat goose egg for receptions. The one that was out of his reach read his fault. He pulled up and waved his arms at it, making to legitimate attempt. He should have caught that ball, but he didn't, because he made zero effort. For somebody who brags about Alabama's academics you are pretty dense.
  16. I heard that Foster was measured for a gold jacket last week... ... ... ... ... To work at Golden Coral.
  17. They kicked him out for being too much of a homer. Also for stalking St. Nick.
  18. You must be new here (you might not be I'm just saying that a a joke). Sky will never give up or admit he was wrong about any bama player.
  19. Alabama players are all Gods amongst boys. Don't you know that? The NFL pro bowl should 100% Alabama players, same with the Hof. It's just anti bama bias. Duh.
  20. You watch the games and wank off to Alabama players while wearing your saban mask.
  21. Alabama player thread!? Shocking. Foster is trash.
  22. He's a smack talking CB. It's pretty much a given that star CBs are arrogant loudmouths. (Notice I said pretty much, there are exceptions. I'm looking at your Tre'D ? ) It's not hard to understand why though. WRs are well known to be the biggest diva position in the NFL, with most of the stars being arrogant to a fault. Many CBs were WRs in the past, and just not big enough or had good enough hands to make it, so they were converted in college or early NFL. Also, they are defending the diva WRs (or are the diva WRs burning the diva CBs??) Either way, my HS coach used to joke that CBs were "wide receivers who wished they could catch" ?? Ps. I like how he says he "doesn't see it" in regards to Allen's arm strength. Doesn't matter if you think he's trash, his arm strength is undeniable. Clearly he's just trying to get into his head.
  23. It doesn't matter what Peterman subscribes to. Josh Allen will be the starter eventually, period, barring some career ending injury or something. Foles knows he's the backup in Philly, even after putting on one of the greatest SB performances of all time. Unless Peterman literally runs them to 14-2 , throws for 4500+ yards 30td they there is no way Allen isn't eventually the starter. Even if Peterman has those numbers, Allen would have to be f*ckin terrible, like ej Manuel and jp losman terrible, for them to even consider Peterman over him long term. Yep. He already knows Allen will be struggling in year two and three. Duh.
  24. Mostly true. If you've fully torn the ligaments though, you can't sprain that ligament anymore, but you can still damage others structures, or another ligament. The most common with a rolled ankle (inversion) is the atfl (anterior talofibular ligament). Another common one after your bork the atfl is the calcaneofibular ligament, or cfl. Once these have been stretched out repeatedly (grade1 sprains), partially torn (grade 2), or fully popped (grade 3), it's just a ticking time bomb to roll due to instability from that point forward. You can def strengthen the muscles, but as you correctly stated, nothing will fully stabilize it without surgery.
  25. My favorite part of this is: As such, Cordon's suit argues that McCoy "breached his duty to use ordinary care to protect Plaintiff from dangerous activities being conducted at the Residence." I didn't know it was his duty to protect somebody living in his house whom he was in the process of evicting. crazy. So even if they go 5x it would come out to probably 1-1.5 milly She wants that cheddar
