People can't handle the truth. There's a lot of opinion that gets tossed around here as fact, hell I'm guilty of it at times. This was not opinion. This video was factual. Peterman had a terrible, terrible game (again) and Colin ripped him for it. Exactly what should have happened. Peterman ripped for it, and benched.

Zay Jones has to tell KB where to line up?
SouthNYfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Did you watch the video tied to this? Jesus christ. This guy is a f*cking loser. He legit scoffed at them, acting like he's entitled to be the #1. Unreal. Can we stop with the "process guy" jargon? It makes no sense. From my understanding, "process guy" just seems to mean "gets in line like a good soldier, has good Christian values, and doesn't make waves" and talent has no bearing on it. Having said that, KB can't catch, can't run, can't stay healthy, AND doesn't take responsibility for when he sucks. He needs to go. -

McBeane gave Peterman his shot....

Top draft picks get more leeway because they are talented and have high potential coming into the NFL. Let's use an opposite example: Tom Brady. Brady was a 6th round nobody backup who nobody, including the Pats, thought anything of. His starter went down, and he had quite a good run of it immediately. Benefited from great coaching and great front office who built around him. Maximized his strengths (smart decisions, not making bad throws) minimized his weaknesses. Let's think though, what if he hadn't?? What if he was all time bad (which Nate is just that, all time bad, the worst first 3 NFL starts in the last like 20+ years) Bledsoe would have immediately been reinserted into the lineup, and Brady would be out of a job. Np wasn't given a raw deal. He sucks, and his strengths don't translate into the NFL. Unlike Brady, he makes very poor decisions. He's getting the right treatment, the bench. Exactly. Rarely marginal talent performs, most times it doesn't. When marginal talent does perform, it almost always does so early on, and you can see the strengths, even during the bad times. I legit see no cohesive strengths with Peterman after watching. I've seen enough. Actually, his biggest strength, quick decision making, hurts him since those decisions are also linked with his biggest negative: poor decision making. I can make quick decisions too if I throw it to the wrong place every time. -
Very true. I don't actively root to lose, but if we do lose, I am okay with it and see the upside to it this season. I also feel that some people can't turn that game day guy off ever, and think that people with me mentality of "if we lose it's actually a positive as long as we lose a lot this season" as being negative. It's not negative, it's just being realistic and accepting that a team that has been inept for so long isn't a prime destination for free agents, even if they gaveea decent season or two in a row, and the best way to get top flight talent currently is through high draft picks.

Yep. Seriously. I honestly can't believe this is an actual thread. Actually, Jeff Blake is Zay Jones' uncle, maybe we should give him a buzz? He's 47. Probably could still beat out peterman. -

At least we agree on that. I'm just saying that he did some nice things that year, and was a big part of their wins, but I think it was more a "lightning in a bottle" thing than anything. I'll say that most of his "nice plays" with denver were due to this receivers getting wide open deep a lot. Stacked oline, mcgahee at running back (1200 yards) Eric Decker, Demariyus Thomas, Brandon Lloyd were dusting people all year. He pretty much just heaved it up, I remember a stat about him saying that he had the highest comp % on deep balls that year. Know who else had a nice deep ball, ran well, but couldn't make the "tough throws" short/across the middle when needed? I'll give you one guess, he played for the bills recently. -

I'm not sure what you are posting this for? He was 7-4 as a starter in the regular season, then 1-1 in the playoffs, including beating the 12-4 steelers, whom he threw for 316 yards, rushed for 50, and was responsible for 3 TDs (2 passing, 1 rushing) against the #1 defense in the league. He threw for about 150 yards per game, rushed for about 50 yards per game. 12 passing TDs 6 rushing TDs. He also had 5 comebacks in the 4th quarter and 6 game winning drives overall that year. Again, I'm not saying he got a raw deal from denver (they signed peyton f*cking manning). I'm also not saying he got a raw deal in the NFL afterwards. I'm pointing out that he meaningfully contributed to many of their wins that year. That's literally all I'm saying. He obviously couldn't swing it afterwards as an NFL QB, so yeah, that's because he wasn't really that good at the other teams he went to, career over, RIP TIM. -

He went 7-4 as the starter. They were 1-4 in games not started by him during that regular season. He went on to beat the Steelers, a game in which he threw for 316 yards, 2 TD 0 int, and rushed for another 50 yds with 1 rushing TD. Steelers were 12-4 and had the #1 ranked defense in the NFL that season, btw. Mind you, I'm not advocating for him to come to Buffalo, and I think Denver was correct in their decision, because they replaced him with Manning. I'm just saying stop acting like he did nothing that season. -

I heard matt flynn threw 7 tds in 1 game -
I think they were a total of like $5mil between the both of them Dareus 13.5 Wood 10.4 Glenn 9.6 Tyrod 7.6 Aaron williams 2.42 Ragland 1.2 Incog 1.15 Darby 400k then a bunch of 90-300k below that In the end, technically he did create all that dead cap, but AJM and Coleman were not the issues (although both were dumb moves)

So we've now reached the point where we are blaming the CBA for our inability to compete? That's a pretty awesome excuse, since the rest of the league plays by the same rules. Nah man. It's obviously the CBA's fault our oline sucks. Has nothing to do with their talent or coaching. It's the CBA's fault.

The team didn't want to start Allen yet. Yes I do know, because it's obvious. Get your head out of your @ss. The offensive line and WRs suck. The defensive line is not even league average. Stop acting like "everything will be okay if we just hold hands and wish really hard". Team sucks. Have some good young pieces for the future. The other guys are garbage and not even PS level. You can't sail in a boat full of this many holes.

Define soft, oh guru of softness? Emotionally? I'll give you that, since he never takes responsibility and blames everybody else Physically? Other than his injuries I think he takes some good hits and plays tough when he wants to. That's why he's so infuriating. He has the ability he just doesn't care. It's a flipping contract year and he's just like "meh"

It's pretty obvious they didn't want to start Josh this early since they gave np the start against the Ravens, then reluctantly gave Josh the nod mid week. It doesn't just come down to mental fortitude btw. If you have a terrible oline and your QB is devastated all the time by pressure, it's very hard to lean to be a QB when you spend every play on your back or running for your life. There's also a very high risk of injury. No, a bad loss doesn't define a season. A preseason then opener in which we haven't been able to block at all is recipe for disaster though. Don't give me the bs about preseason not counting and guys don't try blah blah blah. Our oline guys were literally playing for their jobs in preseason. They were terrible against Baltimore. Seriously our oline sucks. So do our wrs. Like worst in NFL sucks for both. That's why people are down on THIS season. Happy for Allen going forward, but this season doesn't look good. Tired of all the "just be positive guys" bulls*it. "It's only preseason" "It's only one game" Next it'll be "it's only a couple of games"
