I guess having to be physically restrained because your went after your coach during a game makes you a "process guy" (Oliver and applewhite were both wrong over the stupid jacket incident, but that kind of reaction from Oliver was way overboard) And had to be physically restrained from beating up his coach mid game Coach was wrong, 100%, but so was Oliver for going at him physically Agreed. He's another dareus/suh

Yep. QBs broken. Throw him out.

Roster Concerns Prior to Draft
SouthNYfan replied to richardb1952's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll put te on that list too All the top end teams utilize their te very well and have talent there I'm thinking WR/TE are about equal on their board, and would take whichever has the better player available at that position Pass rush/dline is a bit thin also Oline could always use depth After those I think late round rb and cb depth -
Feels strange to have a FO with a specific plan
SouthNYfan replied to TBBills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It feels like when you've been in a string of bad relationships for years and years, then you meet this girl who is amazing, and things are going great, and you're like "this could be the one!!" ... But deep down you're still scared, waiting for the other shoe to drop and the wheels to fall off, like you find out that she is a serial killer (the pats know this feeling haha) or something... Hopefully we have a happy ever after though -
Andy is done with mahomes after that horrible sophomore season. He's ready to move on. He's ready to unleash EJ on the world and set the NFL on fire.
-
We recovered from him being named our starting QB... Twice.

His injury history just kills it for him. Can't rely on a guy to take you to the promised Land if he can't stay on the field

Hockenson at #9 Change My Mind
SouthNYfan replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well backwards analysis makes sense since he's talking out of his rear end on this topic. He checks all their boxes -tough -plays hard -hard working off the field -consistent -versatile -no drama on or off field -

It's almost as if these people just make things up, right? He had an average combine and great season. Glad you actually pay attention djb -
Hockenson at #9 Change My Mind
SouthNYfan replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly what I've been saying Everybody keeps saying trade back for him... But I'm not even sure he'll be there at #9... If he is I think you have to take him -
Agreed. Giants signed golden Tate to replace obj though So i guess double slot guys (Tate and Shepard) might work?? I feel like gettleman was like "oh God. Fans are upset. Need a wr name they know. Get me that guy, what's his name, golden corral... Yeah... He has some decent numbers, let's sign him" and has never actually watched a game to know that he's basically a really good slot guy (not a knock, just what he is) so now your #1 and #2 are both slot guys

People don't seem to understand how good obj is. I feel like they've never watched him play and just like to complain about him being a diva.

I think I figured out Dabol people...???
SouthNYfan replied to Scorp83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We will see I mean if all the top d talent goes early then they might go for bpa so trading back away from hock isn't good imo -
A lot of Competition at WR For The Bills in 2019
SouthNYfan replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm actually pining for hockenson #9 He is a serious weapon in the passing game, he's a crazy physical and talented blocker, plays hard nosed football, goes 110% every play, and our te position is a tire fire. -

Trade back and draft him? I'm concerned he won't even be there at #9. He's my #1 draft want this year. Really hope they get him at #9. -
WR Cole Beasley (Dallas) to the Bills
SouthNYfan replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. Dude blocks like a bulldozer too. I'm trying to not get excited because I don't think he'll be there at #9. -
I said this exact thing to my NYG friend this morning... He shook his head in disgust and agreed.

Good stuff Yeah I know what it was exactly And the other reason it doesn't work with the nba or NFL a direct translation is the fact that those leagues fine truly have a minor league system to grow talent like MLB does I mean the NBA has some lower leagues and they can draft a young euro player then let him continue to grow in Europe, but overall I def agree with what you're saying I missed the sarcasm in your first post ?

Isn't the moneyball philosophy about using advanced metrics and new age analytics to build a team by finding players who represent good value without breaking the bank?? It was Billy Beane who developed it to build the As on a small market budget. If anything I think it's perfectly suited to a salary cap league more than anything.
-
If the Giants wanted him gone so badly before why did they sign him to a massive deal last off-season?? I live in Giants/jets land too and I've received a half dozen texts tonight and two phone calls with livid Giants fans saying this is the worst trade they've ever seen. What mysterious injury?? He had a high ankle sprain that he returned from too soon leading to a season ending ankle fracture. I didn't know you could fake a broken bone. What?? Maybe it's because obj wasn't on the freaking trade block and the Giants decided to start gauging his value. Nowhere in that tweet does it say the bills weren't interested after the Giants contacted them.

Matt Patricia please stand up. Hell I don't think any of his assistants have a winning record once they leave the Borg.
