  1. Rodgers is arrogant in some ways, but he regularly seems to be on board with his receivers. He's not like Ben who just throws blame on them all day long. Brady does have a bit of a screaming problem, but he and belli made moss behave I agree about Baker and him, I said they might clash, but they might jive because Baker is, as you said, "balls out" like him. The Eli description is pretty perfect.
  2. Yeah I'm not sure it was the best move for Cleveland. I think Baker is enough of a strong personality that obj won't walk all over him, but they might butt heads. Guys like obj, brown, etc need to be with elite veteran QBs who aren't arrogant (like Ben)... Guys like Brady, Rodgers, Brees
  3. False. Look at Eli's stats with and without obj. Giants offense went from 23ppg to 18ppg with vs without him. Giants are a .500 team with him and something like 2-17 without him. Some guys are difference makers. He is one of them. You can decide he isn't worth the headache, but you can't deny his impact on the games. Also he is making 16.7, 14, 14.5, 13.75 and 13.75 in the upcoming years. Not 20 million. You exaggerated by almost 30-45%.
  4. Yeah it makes me want to cry.
  5. I thought they let cano walk because he was older than they thought and wanted a 10 year deal, and because he had the same issue they didn't like with Machado (doesn't always hustle) The ellsbury signing I wanted to punch a wall when it happened. Now they have him instead of Harper. ? That's another discussion though I'll leave this to football Giants suck. That's the end of it. ? They were well above the floor though if I'm not mistaken (I could be)
  6. Remember, CoT had it's original groundwork laid by CoF (cult of fitzy) ?
  7. I was generalizing him, but yes he's a very good receiver. He's not obj though, as you said. There will be a big drop-off.
  8. Career earnings Mack's exactly what it means. Career earnings. Money already earned. The link your provided shows he walked away with $60 million (fitzy). Earned. Walked away with. Not "oh that's what was signed but he actually got less" Correct. I used the # Chandler was talking about, which it seems was TO, not Fitz, but Mr rags still doesn't understand what "career earnings" means, even though he provided a link that proved my point.
  9. 80 mil CAREER EARNINGS. AS IN HE ALREADY EARNED IT. AS IN HE WAS PAID THAT MUCH ALREADY. I don't think mr rags understands what you meant by "career earnings"
  10. He's top10 mocked by many many people. He's an elite TE prospect.
  11. He's an average player at best who is wildly inconsistent game to game. He is what he is. He's never gotten a "raw deal" He's not consistent enough to be given a lock down franchise QB commitment. Yep. Yep.
  12. He's just trying to see the whole country before he settles down and buys a house
  13. I'm hoping he's a "buffalo bills - Brandon Beane" plant. He's there to destroy the dolphins from within... What am I talking about... They already destroyed themselves ??
  14. That's because gettleman is the worst at hiding his intentions. He basically stands around, arms behind his back, whistling and saying "nope, move along, nothing to see here" whenever he's asked about any roster moves.
  15. You mean they have their projected backup who is going to start when whomever else they get inevitably gets injured by the fitzy curse??
  16. Technically he was terminated, but it was a month+ after the incident. I mean maybe it had something to do it with it, but it wasn't like they canned him the day after.
  17. I definitely think applewhite was in the wrong too. It may very well be a one time thing, it may not be. Nobody knows that for sure. I just think it's crazy to not at least question it and look into his character before dropping a top10 pick on him.
  18. He's a very good player and I have nothing against him in that regard, nor do I have an issue drafting him solely in that sense. Pittsburgh is a team that overlooks personality/character issues when the draft, and look what happens to them because of it. They constantly are giving away/losing talent and having locker room issues because they overlook and ignore possible character issues. I'm not saying every player has to be a choir boy, but you can't overlook the fact that he raged on a coach and went after him, even if you believe he had no intention of physically assaulting him, he was at the very least trying to intimidate and bully his coach. I am larger, younger, and stronger than my boss at work, but I don't blow a gasket and get up in his grill like that when we have a disagreement, even if he is completely wrong and I am upset. I get it, he is 21, but I wasn't doing that to my superiors at that age either.
  19. I've read was said about his character by his coach. I've also heard what people say about the character of guys who wind up being nothing but trouble after they've been vouched for. I also said that because of this incident it's on the front office to do their due diligence on him, to determine if they think it's going to be an issue in the future. It's pure ignorance to not at least dig into it from a team perspective.
  20. Been through it all. Fully believe that if somebody hadn't stepped in between them he would have laid hands on his coach.
  21. He was a foot away from him at one point before somebody stepped between them.
  22. Keep not watching the video
  23. I feel like you didn't watch the video. He was like a foot from the coach's face and he shoved people out of his way who were physically restraining him from getting in the coach's face. If he wasn't restrained it may very well have led to a physical altercation. Do I think it's the end of the world and that they shouldn't go anywhere near him? No. Do I think it's worth asking some questions about, and that it may lead them to pass on him? Yes.
  24. Ed Oliver physically went after his coach in college, and risk in taking a potential problem player @#9 of a lot different than taking a flyer on a guy in FA on a short, no risk deal.
