  1. I didn't read the thread, maybe this was said before, but do you think it's possible McDaniels loves a couple of the QBs and told the front office he would be okay with trading luck and rolling with a new rookie he can groom?
  2. Exactly. There's no way he runs higher than 4.4
  3. Yeah, he will be between 4.3-4.4 most likely
  4. On what basis? Yeah I'm not sure what he was thinking
  5. Oh snap. But if you're his source, shouldn't you just be the one posting??
  6. You telling someone they are reckless and out of touch with reality?? Pot, meet kettle, he's black too. The voices in your head don't count. Now he's become the crazy 30 something next door living in Mom's basement making pipebombs and dolls from lose strands of hair he collects from the neighbor's trash.
  7. Manziel being selected anywhere was a joke. (Fixed it. Just playing around btw. I agree with you 100%)
  8. That's solid I'm surprised how thin Lamar Jackson legs are, he's gone get broken in half
  9. Yeah fair enough I just think he needs to fill out or he'll get killed
  10. Darnold is about 220lbs. Rodgers was 224@ combine I think. Ben was 240+@combine. He's more comparable to Rodgers size, but I do agree about the arm and style being more comparable to Ben "Sources out west" "dialed in at USC" Stahp.
  11. It does have trade!! I just used it! It's the little blue arrow thing Can only trade for a player, so I traded hotrod to Cleveland for a guy making like $50k just to pretend it was a draft pick Then I restructured shady and Glenn, cut wood just as an estimate Left me with $51mil about open cap
  12. 100% keep: Jordan Matthews (we need WRs. He's solid) Ej Gaines (he's my #1 FA to keep) Kyle Williams (just gotta keep him) Taiwan Jones (just the name alone makes it worthwhile imo) The rest I haven't looked into enough to really give opinion on, other than Tolbert, please be gone!! Also I think hapless had found somewhere that if we could trade Tyrod it would save another $7-8mil off his cap hit with only $2.5 dead money (Assuming you could find a partner, which isn't likely)
  13. I'm squarely in this camp. If we can't get another QB who's better, and Peterman had a good camp and preseason, I'm okay with giving him the go ahead. Do I think he'll be a franchise guy? No I don't Do I think he's an improvement to tyrod? He might wind up getting there. Anybody but tyrod? YEP.
  14. 4 of the 6 are rushing records. Of the 2 passing ones, one was highest comp% in a game, which he was 91.67%, because he was 11 for 12 passing... For one TD and 181 yards (63 on one pass to Sammy, on his career day off 168 yards on 8 rec) The other was 222 without an int, which included that game above in the stretch. It also included multiple games where he AVERAGED under 6.5 yards per attempt. He loves checkdowns or holding the ball until a receiver is 10 yards open. That's why he doesn't throw a lot of ints. We all know this. Quoting a Wikipedia article about his Bills records he holds to try and backup a point that he's a good QB, without actually looking at the records, isn't very bright. The records he holds show nothing about how good he is as a QB, and if anything, just highlight what everybody knows about him: He's not a good pocket qb, he runs too much, he only throws when it's a perfect window so he holds it too long. Glad we see eye to eye on something Thurman. It's nice to find that with people
  15. Agreed. 26 was referring to me saying they should def bring him in for a workout
  16. I would rather watch Peterman thrown to the wolves than watch Tyrod again under center for another season. At least Nate would throw the ball (even if it was to the other team)
  17. http://www.businessinsider.com/highest-paid-nfl-players-2017-2/#2-eli-manning-qb-2193-million-24 There is a list as of the end of this past season
  18. Fair. I mean I think I'd be disappointed if we didn't try to at least pursue him. Obviously if he's not interested that's his prerogative.
  19. Because that is relevant to what I said.
  20. I'm sorry, but even if you don't love cousins, you need to at least bring him in for a workout, talk to him, see what he's all about. I'll be very disappointed in the front office if they don't at least give him a good look.
  21. Btw it may crash and burn for Reid It may work out great It may work out for us too It's really all up in the air
  22. I dunno. I like how it say 'we' have no interest. There's plenty here who would like Kirk. Just like there are plenty who wouldn't. By 'we' are you implying that you are on the Bills staff? What is there to really understand about cousins? He's an above average QB who can absolutely win you games. He's a "ride or die" guy who's got the gunslinger mentality and isn't afraid to throw the football. He reminds me a lot of Favre, Stafford, guys like that in that respect. Is he a top5 QB in the NFL? Nope. He is usually somewhere between 8-12 on most rankings that I've seen. That's a fair place to put him. He's far better than Taylor, and would be far and away the best QB since Kelly on this team. If you don't think that the 2017 Bills would have gone 11-5 with cousins instead of tyrod then I'm not sure how much football you've watched in your "over 29 years" of being a fan, but it obviously didn't include much of Kirk or the 2017 bills It's pretty well known that cousins didn't want to return to Washington, after their pathetically low-ball offer after last season, then the ownership trying to bash him in the media, including the owner calling him by the wrong first name twice publicly. The trade for Smith was desperation to save face and hope the fans didn't Lynch Snyder for leaving them with no QB
  23. I think that you have to give mahomes until after next year to judge. In a perfect world I don't think Reid wanted to trade Smith, but to finish his contract and groom mahomes another year, but they were in cap trouble, with no 1st round pick, and Smith was due $18mil, so they made the move early
  24. I flatly said I won't watch if Tyrod is under center, because I don't find watching a clueless QB scramble around, not seeing wide open receivers (or just missing the throws) while I yell at the tv entertaining. So as I said, I won't WATCH. So no, transplant, I won't be excited if Tyrod is under center, and I won't be WATCHING the games. I will still be on the board, still follow the team, still root for them, but actually watching him play is painful. You can not watch games physically and still follow a team. Feel free to keep drinking his koolaid and telling me that I'll watch.
  25. Too early to tell. I was livid when we passed on mahomes btw. Still not looking like it was a good move. After this draft/off-season if we don't have a QB it was a bust move. Even if we do and mahomes winds up better than our QB, still a bust move. Too early to call, but the magic 8 ball thinks we made an error. I actually won't watch if Tyrod is the QB. It's not me whining, it's me being tired of watching him run around cluelessly while we're lose 10-3. Just not enjoyable to watch.
