  1. To me it's gaines, then the rest. I think he's our #1 FA priority. The rest of the list are nice players, but we are good at safety (unless the vet Graham is willing to be a non starter/sub in for specific packages at a good price), DLine and OLine guys would be big too, but I'm still set on Gaines first
  2. I agree completely. I'm not sure we can move up to a high pick though, unless we go full ditka, because there's so many QB needy teams. (Not an avocation if that btw) I think it's an interesting QB class, a ton of very good QB prospects, could wind up being one of those "QB years" we look at in 10 years that shaped a decade of the NFL landscape It could also be a tire-fire. Either way I hope we are on board for a ticket to the 2018 QB ride, because missing the boat this year will piss off a lot of fans (obviously that's assuming we don't land cousins or another trade)
  3. Are you trying to initiate them into the #billsmafia? I wouldn't give them that honor.
  4. They'd still be there, same fans as this video, 30 years older, all disheveled alcoholics
  5. As sweet as it was too end the drought, it seems Bills that the best season we've had in 17 years (solely bc of the playoffs, I thought we had better teams other years) is the same year that there are a bunch of potential franchise QBs, so it might actually set us back another decade without a QB. (Although ending the drought was pretty nice)
  6. I was thinking the same thing There are 32 teams. He named 10 Chargers though? Seriously?
  7. Agreed on all points. I was just saying that people forget BBs defensive book that game is in the HoF.
  8. Right, I agree. I think his argument wasn't that Norwood was the best kicker ever, but that he was very very good, and not a "weak link"
  9. It might have? I stated a fact. His defensive playbook for that game was put into Canton. That's a fact.
  10. They were the #1 defense in the NFL that year. They were the previous year's SB champ also, people seem to forget this, along with your post points, which were great. BBs defensive playbook from that game is actually in Canton @ the HoF. He developed a gameplan special to counter the no huddle offense. It's literally all time great stuff. Looking back, after his cheating, and spying, I wonder if he actually did that back then too??
  11. Agree completely I think it's currently a rule that doesn't serve a purpose, because it forces you to interview somebody based on their ethnicity, even if you don't plan to hire them because you already had a guy in mind
  12. Does ej know that? I figure he's just the raiders janitor.
  13. I know there is precedent for this, like the Ravens with one of their executives, but I'm not sure if the exception applies to coaching positions. I think the rule is fu*king stupid, because it doesn't do anything but force teams to interview somebody they most likely won't even hire just because he's a minority. I've never been a fan of the rule as I don't think it does anything to fix what it's designed to fix.
  14. Exactly what I was thinking
  15. Lol. It was a joke since Tyrod's biggest supporters reference his NFL career low int% and his good comp% He didn't sign a contract from what ESPN reported last I saw. I'm sure the medical info was discussed in talks with the ownership/etc. I wonder if that violated any HIPAA laws.
  16. Agreed.. So you're saying Luck can be as good as tyrod playing with his left hand?
  17. I dunno He's still in the league
  18. I agree. If he was, then the NFL should test him, as you're violating their rules. I think it's fan fiction too.
  19. Austin was drafted with the pick we had, that we traded back to draft EJ Manuel instead.
  20. All valid!. This is a good discussion! I like Rosen, I think his desire is fine. I think it's all opinion at this point though. I like Rosen and Mayfield best
  21. I don't disagree, but desire can only get you so far,I think baker will be good though!! Yeah that was really weird.
  22. Very fair. I'm not as concerned as you are, but I also can't argue those points, as they are legit, and it really is perception on the degree to which they affect things. I think a lot of people view him as a Jay Cutler, amazing arm and talent, but questions about his leadership, personality (as a teammate, as well as towards the media), and his "football desire" all remind many of Jay. The last one is definitely a big possible issue, as somebody who isn't mentally committed to football could run into on the field issues (not caring if they win or lose, which generally means less practice time, and this indifferent attitude can affect teammates) All valid concerns. I think Mayfield is a gamer, and not just wants to win, but hates losing, and those are two very different things. Everybody wants to win. Not everybody has that visceral hatred for losing, which is something you see in all the greats in every sport (Jordan, Kobe, Brady, etc). It's a very distinct difference, and I fully agree that Rosen might not fit that mold.
  23. He's damn good I like him and Rosen
  24. Who does get you excited that we have a shot at?
