  1. I’ve got a post on the first page of this thread saying how I wouldn’t give up on McDermott. And I won’t as long as he’s here. But todays loss felt AWFUL because it felt like our coaching staff thought their way of playing was superior and instead of changing and adapting to what they saw they decided to double down. I just watched a game where a defensive specialist head coach just had his defense give up 44 points and forced only 1 meaningful punt.
  2. Just watched a post game show on YouTube that was titled “Josh Allen the greatest loser of all time”. Now I get it they use this for clickbait. But it infuriates me because it’s kinda true. You could argue Josh has more absolutely historic losses than signature wins. 13 Seconds Josh played the greatest quarter of football I’ve ever seen. Do you remember the throws Josh was making prior to the hail Murray? Today he’s the first player since they wore leather helmets to score 6 TDs and he loses. Yes I know he has the no punt playoff game but the guy is a damn superhero and he keeps willing his team to wins that somehow turn to losses.
  3. I hate the title of this thread because it kinda glances over the absolute disaster this defense was from the first snap. Aside from Von & AJ making some decent plays on the jet sweeps in the second half, the defense made absolutely ZERO changes in coverage despite their zone defense being absolutely shredded the entire game.
  4. I don’t “hate” the QB sneak call. It works for us. It’s our bread and butter, you could argue we run it better than Philly. But the offense should have been notified that if you come up short you’re lining right back up and you’ve gotta get it asap. NO TIMEOUT
  5. I put 90% of the blame today on McDermott. Zone wasn’t working you can’t refuse to change the entire game. They dropped 44 points on us because we never adapted. That’s on coaching. Sure some players were flat and Milano might not be himself yet. But we had zero pass rush and soft zone and Stafford didn’t even have to try.
  6. Josh Allen is begging his defense to get out of zone. He’s begging you
  7. GET OUT OF ZONE We haven’t even looked that bad in man. Puka has made some super human plays while in man but I’d much rather lose a game while watching Puka make once in a lifetime catches than watch Stafford just march up and down the field in zone.
  8. This is infuriating. You have to stop the soft zone with no pressure
  9. No rush. Zone coverage. It’s 10 yards a play
  10. It was only a matter of time before they went the other way on the jet sweep
  11. BS penalty. Rams fans (if they exist) should be livid
  12. It’s not realistic to win every single game, but there is something about the way we play in losses that just drives me crazy. It’s very rare that we lose because one side of the ball couldn’t carry their weight. When we lose it feels like a total team collapse with a lack of emotion. There’s still alot of game left but yikes I hate this feeling
  13. Well done Bills. Someone tell Tyler Bass to calm down a bit. Imagine you’re kicking in snow
  14. The Patriots AFC East domination was based on Belicheck being arguably the greatest coach of all time and by sheer luck he got matched with the goat at QB. McDermott by no means is Belicheck but the combo of him and Allen will make it very difficult for the other 3 teams in the division. Maye might be a legit QB but will he have a coach? The Jets might stumble into a fantastic coach but will they be trotting out a 42 year old Rodgers or are they going to have to hit on a QB in the draft? Which they haven’t done since Namath. And at this point until proven otherwise Miami is the retirement home of the NFL. Beautiful weather, beautiful women, no taxes. You don’t go there to grind for a superbowl you go there to win some games and have some fun. Its going to be tricky for the other 3 teams to overcome both McDermott AND Allen.
  15. If the Bills make the Super Bowl there is a very solid chance I don’t even know who they play when I black out due to excitement. Honestly there is no one I want to play. Some people say “give me the Giants or Panthers” but if either of those teams showed up in the SB I would be absolutely TERRIFIED. Because how the hell did they get there? Do they have the Bills number? Is this a revenge game for Daboll? Yeah sorry I’m going to be a mess regardless. That being said the battered child side of me that’s lived through more heartbreak than any NFL fan should have to endure, would prefer it be a tortured fanbase like the Lions or Vikings so at least they can see their team in the big show. Even if we massacre them and add to the torture.
  16. I’ve seen Cole Bishop play safety. I have every hope in the world that he’s going to be the guy one day once he gets more accustomed to the Bills system and the NFL speed difference. But from what I’ve seen he’s not ready yet. I’d be happy for them to bring Hyde back just as an insurance policy. God forbid something happens to Hamlin would be nice to have Hyde in game shape allowing us to not miss a step. But that’s all I would want him as….just a depth piece. The team right now is cohesive and winning football games I wouldn’t want to mess up that chemistry.
  17. One thing has never changed. I love McDermott as a human being and as a coach of men. I will never say anything bad about him as a person or as a leader. But, my opinion has changed from earlier this year. After the Ravens and Texans loss I was admittedly pretty fired up about things. I have on a number of occasions (after coaching blunders) felt as if we had potentially hit a glass ceiling with him. That feeling remains in the back of my mind. But I also look at the rosters of the Eagles, Chiefs, Ravens etc and we don’t have that same level of talent but he’s consistently gotten the very best out of everyone. I want so badly for his defense to finally click one of these years in the playoffs and have him get his signature playoff win. It just hasn’t happened yet, most of our playoff wins feel like the Josh Allen show and our losses feel like McDermott let down the Josh Allen show. But seeing him make snow angels and watching this team completely rally behind him after last years hit piece. I just want so badly for him to win.
  18. In all fairness safety play has been seemingly down this season at least at FS. Jevon Holland plays on a team with no fight. Minkah who is usually a shoe in at FS plays on a top defense but he’s been remarkably quiet compared to his normal production. Despite Bills fans opinions Hamlin has been one of the steadier and reliable FS’s in the AFC this year.
  19. Lol
  20. Yikes this game ain’t over yet
