I feel like half of you forgot the team we are playing. You realize this is the top team in the NFC if not arguably top team in the league. They are known to score a stupid amount of points with their highly efficient offense. Instead of killing this defense over giving up scores maybe tip your hat at the first two stops they got that might be huge in this shoot out of a game.

Have we considered the idea of Allen playing both ways? I mean he’s sneaky fast, knows coverages amazingly well and would surely bring some energy to that side of the ball. Put Josh at FS and let him roam the field. Let this be the year that not only does he cut down on his own turnovers, but now he starts forcing them.

I’m still in disbelief. If I told you this scenario… A defensive specialist at head coach is going to have his teams QB score 6 TDs and all of his players on defense are healthy and back from injury. What is the first thing you say? Did they win by 30 or 40?

For 5 years now our defense has felt very much like the defensive version of the Miami Dolphins. If we play an average or below average team we pad our stats and look very strong as a unit. But when we get lined up against a legit team, the flaws in our system get exposed. Our bend but don’t break system works great against QBs who are impatient or just bad. Unfortunately all of those QBs are eliminated after the first round of the playoffs. And you know what happens….
