I worry that both coaching staffs are executing the same gameplan and it’s not working for us. The Patriots want the MVP off the field and getting cold McDermott wants a bend but don’t break defense that leads to many long sustained drives.

I remember when McDermott defenses were a massive issue for rookie QBs. Especially in Buffalo. What is going on philosophically with this team defensively right now.

Honestly I’m not hating this. Once we have our starting safeties and CB back I think we’ll be ok. But every postseason we enter in with a top 5 or top 10 defense and I think we mentally assume the D can be trusted and we play that way. Which generally gets us burned. These playoffs I think we are going to go into full shoot out mode and if the defense gets some stops that’s awesome but if not we are gonna consistently push the envelop on the offensive side

A couple reasons. 1. Skylar Thompson wildcard game but this time without Thompson. 2. Burrow/Chase/Higgins feels alot like Stafford/Kupp/Nakua Regardless of Josh’s hot streak and crazy season I’d much rather play Bo Nix or the Chargers. Broncos and Chargers “danger ceiling” is well below that of peak Miami or Cincinnati.

Due to remaining schedule I think we want Broncos to win. Just to make sure Dolphins and Bengals don’t make it

From what I could see on Elam he played a solid game. Looked really solid in man on a couple of occasions (also a couple missteps, but that’s expected). Bishop is a solid backup but he doesn’t seem ready for the big show yet. I think he’s your starting safety next year but he’s not ready yet.

You put a dome on this stadium and regardless of how amazing Josh is I don’t think our record against the Dolphins looks the same either. You view it as a detriment. But every QB in the league can play in a dome. Only a few QBs in the league have the arm talent to play and win in Buffalo in the elements. Opposing fans don’t want to travel into this weather. Players don’t want to play in this weather. Embrace your advantage
