That’s an amazing catch. Can’t overturn that and even if they are planning on overturning that pretty sure the refs owe us one from that missed holding in the end zone. This absolutely is confirmed -

I honestly didn’t know you could do that to our defense… -
Chargers are cooked. Bring Khalil back home before he retires. He’s still got juice

Lamar has had an absolutely unbelievable season. If he wins MVP I can’t be mad at that at all. That being said, 2023 Chugga is going to be LIVID. Last year I thought Josh should have won the MVP. He did everything you’re told to do. Have the numbers, finish the season incredibly strong, and have one of the top 2 teams in the conference. He did it all. But he lost. And we were all told yeah all that stuff above is nice but at the end of the day it’s really about wins and doing more with less - also cut down on the turnovers. Ok I’m not happy, but I get it. This year Josh loses WR1 & WR2 and Lamar gains a HOF RB. More with less? Josh essentially all but eliminates his turnovers. Then Josh wins more games and has quality wins over the two best teams in the league. So by what I’ve been told and based on the metrics we were told were being used, Josh is the MVP. It needs to make sense

It’s a shame Vegas has moved so much. This is what I expected the whole time. Lamar would start in the pro bowl, get first team AP, and offensive player of the year, but Josh would get MVP due to the definitions of the awards. I honestly thought we were all on the same page. Apparently not. While id really like Josh to win an MVP to cement his legacy, if he does walk away empty handed again, I like the fire that is going to bring to the divisional round and on.

I don’t think the list is as prestigious as you think it is. I don’t think the announcers were lying she likely has a vote. Look at last years list of voters it’s not awe inspiring.

This is why dolphins fans are hilarious to me Do you know they have a topic on their board that’s 10+ pages long asking where Tua ranks amongst other NFL QBs and an absolutely shocking amount of their fans had him ranked in the top 5. But the Dolphins are currently losing a game they need to keep their playoff hopes alive to one or the worst teams in the NFL whose roster has completely packed it in for the year. And how is Tua playing with the season on the line? Trick question - he’s not playing. Of course he’s not.

I’ve wanted the broncos the whole time. While I appreciate everyone’s optimism for all options above I’ve seen Josh score 40+ and lose. I’ve also seen Josh walk off the field up 3 points with 13 seconds left and lose. For me it’s about minimizing risks. ”Josh will drop 50 on the Bengals!” Yeah but Burrow might drop 51 ”We own the dolphins!” Yeah but division foes playing for a 3rd time in a single season is always dangerous no matter who it is So give me Denver. Their CBs scare me a bit as I think they could be pretty sticky to our WRs. Bo Nix legs also could be a bit of a problem. But in a Allen vs Nix game give me Allen every time.

After that amazing win? That’s terrible. He was the only coach in the AFC East to be able to go head to head with a Josh Allen led team and get a victory. He should have gotten an extension

Honestly I felt like the odds should have moved after the pro bowl announcement. While I personally don’t put a lot of faith into the pro bowl voting, the voting itself does paint a pretty vivid picture. The Ravens have 9 pro bowlers total, with the Ravens offense having 5 players itself. That’s nearly 50% of Lamar’s offense is considered the best at their position. Lamar’s RB, FB, WR, and C were the best the AFC had to offer. You can’t make a better argument for doing more with less. The Bills have two pro bowlers. Josh and his LT. But he’s sitting out week 18 because the team he’s leading already is locked into the 2 seed and has nothing to play for. The icing on the cake is the fact that last year they clearly doubled down and said stats are not the deciding factor and what you are able to accomplish and with who is a large portion of the vote. No 1000 yard rusher, no 1000 yard receiver. No pro bowler at any skill position. I appreciate that Lamar is absolutely killing it this year. To me he’s the offensive player of the year (sorry Saquon). But Josh is the MVP

I’ve generally never had issues with Ravens fans and I’m sure there are still plenty of great ones out there. But it has been startling how they have flipped their own script it’s borderline comical. Can you imagine these sentences…. ”of course they are pushing his rushing TDs” and ”yeah but look at his passing TDs” ….coming out of any ravens fans mouths a year ago? Lamar is having a historical season and I take nothing away from the guy. But so is Josh. And seeing the arguments Ravens fans are choosing to utilize is WILD.

If we came out and put this team away with 3 TD drives, I think the 2 seed and the MVP is locked up by the end of the first half. But this game going the way it’s gone has likely hurt the MVP race a bit. Just gotta close it out strong -

Man I just had some weird feelings with that TD. It’s not like it was an astronomical number but as a kid I just didn’t think Thurman would ever be dethroned. He seemed super human to me -
I don’t think you shut things down completely until you have the 2 seed locked up. Also there is something to be said about being “cold” going into the playoffs. If we gave the bulk of our starters time off for 2 weeks then came out flat as hell the wildcard round this board would erupt. I think McDermott is doing the right thing. Don’t rush anyone back take your time recovering and if we ever get locked into place then yeah pull the plug on Josh.
-
I know it’s not realistic but if we are going to win the Super Bowl this team needs to change its defensive philosophy overnight. Their bend but don’t break defense is consistently breaking. It is GUARANTEED to break against playoff level competition. Teams want to keep Josh Allen cold and off the field. Long, time consuming drives on the defensive side of the ball are killing the offenses flow, especially when these long drives end up in TDs anyways. They need to change from bend but don’t break and unleash Dorian and Rapp as the human missiles they are and start attacking. Yes we will give up some long plays and maybe some TDs over the top. But Josh won’t spend 13 of the 15 first quarter minutes sitting on the bench. If we don’t change it’s going to be death by a million cuts as soon as we play a competent QB in the playoffs.

Smart coaching. Despite playing an awful run defense the patriots never run on the goalline and preserve all 3 of their time outs. -

Even though he’s one of my favorite Bills from the last 10 years, after watching this game you gotta wonder if Milano maybe needs to sit behind Williams. Peak Milano is a better player but this isn’t peak Milano and I don’t know if he can get to even Dorian Williams level by the playoffs -

I don’t get all of these deep shots. We’ve been killing it the last few weeks by moving the chains and letting our weapons make plays. I feel like there’s been tons of low percentage deep shots all day today
