  1. The current Lions feel very much like the 2021 Bills. 2021 felt like our best chance at a Super Bowl. We were dominant in the regular season and the whole league was looking at both of our coordinators to be head coaches. After an absolutely heartbreaking early playoff exit, that offseason we lost Daboll and it felt like maybe we missed our shot. For the sake of the Lions and their fans I hope they are able to reload like we have been able to.
  2. Todays talking points are just like last years/this years MVP. If this is how you are going to judge things moving forward then I’m 100% on board. If we are going to give QBs grace for making mistakes and stop the narrative of “what have they won” to decide every argument when only one team a year can win it and we are smack dab in the middle of a dynasty. Then I welcome this new era of sports talk and I embrace the new positivity that hosts will be bringing. But something tells me that just like the MVP race, the story hasn’t actually changed. It’s just the goal posts have moved. If Allen doesn’t win the Super Bowl this year and doesn’t throw on his cape at all times I would find it terribly hard to believe that he will be given the same amount of grace I’ve seen Lamar receive today.
  3. Bass deserved a game ball today. That 50+ yarder couldn’t have been more solid.
  4. I changed the thread title to make it more accurate for you
  5. I think due to the MVP race and the medias attempt to make it bills vs ravens fans for the last 5-8 weeks I think generally speaking there is a lot of hatred for lamar and certainly a downplaying of his skills to lessen his credibility as the MVP. I think if Lamar won the game the board would have been filled with “how did we lose to a RB at QB posts”. So yeah I do think it doesn’t jive with the majority of opinions.
  6. I don’t think he outplayed Josh specifically due to the two turnovers. What I will say is his offensive coordinator treated him like the MVP of the league and it’s what allowed them to almost make the comeback. Our offensive coordinator did not treat Josh like the MVP and it showed.
  7. If he got that pitch out, Cook was likely walking in. But glad he didn’t. Could have been catastrophic
  8. I’ve been holding onto this all season. But I like Lamar. I love the way he plays. I don’t think he should have won the MVP last year and don’t think he should this year. I also don’t think he’s on the same tier as Josh (and Pat). But he seems like a cool dude and unfortunately due to circumstances Ravens/Bills fans are forced to fight. Even his quote from the other day saying he isn’t friends with QBs he wants to win (I kinda want my QB to have that old school mentality). Sucks that the playoff choker narrative will stick to him. But I’d rather it be on him than Josh. Hats off to the Ravens, I’ve been confident, but their run game has scared me all week. Go Bills
  9. Come on Brady m, believe in your QB like the rest of us do. He can help put this game away whether it be with his arms or legs
  10. Second half goals 1. Need to stay aggressive on offense to make the Ravens one dimensional 2. Continue to shut down the run so Lamar has to beat you with his arm WE HAVE DONE NEITHER. Come on guys
  11. The Bills could have ELIMINATED this play style if Brady could call a game
  12. LET YOUR GENERATIONAL TALENT AT QB THROW THE BALL
  13. I don’t disagree with that. They were likely trying to steal a possession. Second half that plan might change if we can start off hot
  14. Bass could if he wanted to. Pretty sure they are doing it on purpose. Might like the special teams odds in cold weather with a slippery ball.
  15. It’s not 21-10. You gotta come out like it’s 0-0. Go out there score a TD to take the lead. And play defense like you have all game
  16. Like the fire that Oliver is playing with today. Now it’s time to go double dip
