Biggest pet peeve about this offense. In run plays Josh is under center, we come out with an extra OL, sometimes we also bring in an extra TE or FB. When it’s time for a pass play it’s shotgun empty 5 wide. It just feels so predictable -

We can’t lose track of what works. Take what they give you, you had a rushing first down -
Yikes man I have never seen such a rollercoaster before. 6 days ago we loved this team, loved our WR committee and were Super Bowl bound. The threads that have popped up after ONE bad game is utterly insane. Yes we got blown out but how long did everyone expect this defense to play lights out while they lose starters to injury daily? Baylon Spector and Cam Lewis are out there trying to replace ALL PRO players. And yes I know we also didn’t score a lot but anyone who has watched the Bills since Josh was drafted knows that this time runs 100% on emotion. When the defense can’t hold the offense presses and when the offense can’t score the defense loses discipline. Look what happened prior to that god awful trick play. Bills started to get some confidence and even though we were down by 11 that game all of a sudden felt like a coin toss. We lost 1 game. We are potentially going to lose a second one soon. But we are down half of our starting defense and playing dominant offensive teams. Jesus guys how can you mentally go from Super Bowl lock to AFC basement dweller in DAYS. 1 game. Josh Allen remains the best football player in the league. We’ll be fine

What a crazy take. What you are seeing is an older QB who knows all too well about the bumps and bruises that come from taking hits for a full season. He’s been sliding way more and a little less wreckless when running. But no one would say he “lost a step” when he flew over the defender for a touchdown against the cardinals. He knows when to turn it on and off now rather than being on every minute of every game before. You should be applauding this for the longevity of your franchise QB, not saying he’s lost a step.

Definitely feel like you can hang this loss on my shoulders. I got messy yesterday. 1. I did fall cleaning in my Bills man cave. Moved items all over the place 2. My 4 foot tall standing Bills gnome fell down at kickoff and I decided to stay locked into my recliner rather than get up, and stand him back up 3. My television feed was running exactly 2 minutes behind the live feed as I forgot to click “join live” so my phone was going off about how insane Derrick Henry was on that initial drive while the bills were still punting. I can’t make these mistakes moving forward.

The problem with the play design is that there was no misdirection. As soon as the “QB” sprints out wide to Allen’s side the whole play was flowing that way so anyone pursing would know if it looks like a lateral you are absolutely teeing off on Allen. We are insanely lucky that he wasn’t killed.

Also Carter can play. He needs to see the field more on running downs -

Think I’ve finally hit the 5th phase of grief for this game. For 17 years all I wanted was for us to make the playoffs and we never did. Just needed to squeak in and then anything could happen. Tonight sucks. But so do the Dolphins, Jets, and Patriots. We just need to get healthy and win our division games. Anything can happen in the playoffs when you’ve got Josh Allen at QB. -

NFL script writers are rejoicing tonight. After 3 weeks of Allen proving he could make it work with anyone, this game happens and the narrative all week leading up to the Diggs Texans game will be “maybe Allen does need Diggs” -

Crowd was quiet. Ravens were up, but frustrated. We were driving and the score was 21-10. Then Josh Allen lined up at WR -

It’s not two plays. It’s the trick play. Coleman catch would have been nice but that drop has seemingly got him locked in. We were driving with momentum and that trick play almost knocked Josh out of the game and most certainly knocked us out of winning this game. Terrible call -

Replace the word “financially” with “mentally”. That god awful play that put our franchise QB in harm against a swamping defense will live rent free in my mind for the next week AT LEAST. -

This will be the 4th time I post about that god awful play. We were gaining steam. I could have gone to sleep tonight and been ok with us losing in a hard fought battle. But the next 7 days of my week will have that play on repeat in my brain -

You’ve got one of the best QBs in the league if not the best. Why is he lined up at WR. You have all the momentum building that is an absolutely brutal playcall -

With Bernard, Milano, and Taron. Yes I would play this team again when it matters. Lamar is notoriously awful in the post season and tonight he’ll re-enter the conversation for his 3rd mvp -

The chiefs have been 1 play away from losing all 4 of their games this year. The dolphins are awful. The bengals squeaked by the abysmal panthers. The jets lost to a QB who threw for less than 75 yards and couldn’t put up double digits. Houston has looked insanely vulnerable and really should have lost today to that jaguars team we just blew out. There isn’t a team in the AFC that looks dominant. And despite all that NO ONE is dealing with more injuries than us right now on defense. Two main things. One the game isn’t over yet. And two the season certainly isn’t over. -
