  1. To be clear ... I know like most of us .. I will be yelling for (or at) the Bills all game long ..... BUT Was the Minnesota game a dream? As the other games were nightmares ... given what I've seen in those nightmares .. offensively I don't see us keeping pace with many teams this year but I like what I see by the defense of late ... based on 4 games .. it appears you can run on the Titans who are ranked 25th in rushing defense (yards per game) .. but in points per game allowed they are 6th with 18 points per game (though played Jax, Hou, Miami, and Philly last week .. sans Philly not exactly offensive juggernauts). We can't pass given the WR's .. we'll see if we can run (does Shady get the reps??) .. but the Titans win in OT last week against Philly the defending SB champs was huge .. so unfortunately if I placed the bet .. I'd take Titans minus the 3.5 in Vegas Titans - 20 Bills - 9 (3 FG's)
  2. Yes .. this is the biggest fault of the "Trust the Process" Regime .. OL, WR not withstanding ... Allen is the Franchise .. and he gets to ask Peterman (our only Veteran QB) for advice in the film room, practice, etc. Really? Mahomes has a year of Alex Smith, McCown is helping Darnold, Bradford with Rosen, and can't believe I'm saying this Baker has Tyrod.
  3. Thank you sir .. may I have another
  4. Please no ... part of the history of the Bills is the weather .. indoor teams are panzies (see Detroit, Indy, Cowboys, Texans, Arizona)
  5. Time for the Bills version of the Smurfs (Old Redskins WR adage for those scratching their heads) .. take Allen to three step drops since he appears to be struggling on 7 step drops and turning into defenders and have him hammer throws on quick slants/bubble screens to Ray Ray, Zay, Holmes, Foster (let them create after the catch) .... Bench Benjamin since he's too tall to be a Smurf, though his hands are blue (aka ice cold).
  6. I'll gladly take the under ... last week was his best week of the season ... 3 catches for 29 yards ... not exactly #1 material. For a guy playing for a big contract ... he is going the wrong direction.
  7. Just go get this guy and instantly improve the group ... cut Benjamin for Rishard Matthews
  8. Seen all I need to see .... please bring him in and cut Benjamin
  9. Our new Hero .... Stretch Armstrong 2.0
  10. Great to see the Kyle Williams sack ... love it .. the motor he still has We had Goodwin .. an almost Olympian in the long jump, now we have Josh Allen for the hurdles Did like the pounding by Ivory ... anyone wondering like me ... what Shady thinks sitting on the sidelines?
  11. Never seen these guys before . .but pretty good overview and analysis of Bills Defense and Offense .. great video clips of the Bills Chargers Game .. and opportunities
  12. Given our love for Ex Carolina Panthers .. I am a little shocked that Derek Anderson is not on roster to somewhat fill this role
  13. Foreigner aka Mick Jones/Lou Gramm Your Urgent Posts on former Bills WR's seems Hot Blooded. I know after an 0-2 start and our current WR crew, its a Blue Morning, Blue Day, but when you look at the contracts both Woods ($34MM) and Sammy Signed ($45MM), its like Double Vision. You put those numbers on our Cap space and you'd be playing Head Games. Don't get me wrong, I liked Woods, moreso than paying Sammy, but That was Yesterday. I know the current roster is a Long Long Way From Home, but we have a new Juke Box Hero with Josh Allen.
  14. This is really is a dismal report to digest .. in terms of 4 of the top 5 are on defense .. which has been blown out (aka a turnstile to the end zone) in the red zone .. net of 2nd half last week ... so how does that defense have 4 of the top 5 players on the team ... woof that really says something about the offense side of the ball if you can't outball what the defense has done thus far. Youth movement ... forget Kelvin, Clay, OL .. play the younger players
  15. Older article as some have resigned Lewan and Matthews who were #1 and #2 .. but here are the 2019 FA's ... thoughts? 3. Duane Brown, Seattle Seahawks 4. Daryl Williams, Carolina Panthers 5. Rob Havenstein, Los Angeles Rams The emphasis placed on established veterans over promising prospects is greater than ever as the collegiate game struggles to produce ready-made offensive linemen. As such, contracts for blockers have skyrocketed the last few years, and the growth should continue with two of the game's better young left tackles, Lewan and Matthews, potentially available in 2019. Duane Brown, on the other hand, can still land a massive payday—Andrew Whitworth and Nate Solder did despite their ages. Williams and Havenstein are right tackles. Guard 1. Ali Marpet, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2. Shaq Mason, New England Patriots 3. Quinton Spain, Tennessee Titans 4. Mike Iupati, Arizona Cardinals 5. Jack Mewhort, Indianapolis Colts Guard isn't as glamorous as tackle, but the price tags for some of the league's best interior blockers rival their counterparts. Marpet should be the next to receive a large check because he can excel at both guard spots and center. Mason is one of the game's best run-blockers, while Spain is 26 years old with 27 starts over the last two seasons. Iupati and Mewhort could be higher on the list if not for their injury histories. Center 1. Matt Paradis, Denver Broncos 2. Mitch Morse, Kansas City Chiefs 3. Brett Jones, New York Giants 4. Travis Swanson, New York Jets 5. Nick Easton, Minnesota Vikings Center doesn't present the same depth as guard and tackle, but Paradis is an underappreciated and reliable option with 48 starts over the last three seasons Morse is younger and more physically gifted, yet he dealt with a foot injury in 2017 and needs to return to form. Jones, Swanson and Easton have all started and have enough flexibility to play guard.
  16. Agree ... I liked a lot that I saw yesterday ... we're sending him to bat with a toothpick ... talent wise .. but I always say .. .can't teach attitude and passion ... think he has both .. keep bringing it Josh
  17. Is it me .. or does it look like they he's too tight to the DL at the snap ... and getting caught in the wash?
  18. He disgraced Fred Jackson's #22 ... be gone
  19. Art ... Holy Crap ... apparently Joe B only watches the game from TV as well .. what a photoshop he does from the stadium .... he's Buffalo's version of David Copperfield
  20. Please sign Matt Moore or Derek Anderson ... and cut Peterman ... give Josh a seasoned vet in the QB room ... look what McCown is doing for (very classy) with Darnold. WAKE UP ... need a vet who has started multiple games in the QB room
  21. Sorry Art ... guess threads are meant to nod your head up and down to what the Bills do ... it was a change up ? .. was curious for others thoughts .. getting them .. but to think that those of us who watch football can't throw out a different opinion ... guess you still want Peterman as well ... assuming given your tag you live in Cali "malibu" ... chill.
  22. I hear ya ... but wondering out loud .. after week 1 .. who is standing out in practice from an OL perspective?
