  2. The best part of this is the high profile donors thus far who have really opened up their checkbooks Recent Donations Terry and Kim Pegula 11 hours ago JP $10 Colin Kaepernick 14 hours ago JM $5 Josh McDaniels 15 hours ago AM $5 Matt Barkley 18 hours ago Derek Anderson BD $5 Bills Defence 18 hours ago
  3. I think this will change with the QB hungry teams driving up the QB's like what happens every year come draft time. Giants, Miami, maybe Dallas (after last night), Jags, Oakland (Carr seems out of favor), Tampa Bay .. all should be in the QB race ... and many will move up to grab one.
  4. Here's why ... nepotism and he always "won the offseason"
  5. I hear you .. but the Steelers are more Big Ben than coaching and RB talent and WR talent acquired via the draft that is miles beyond what we've been able to draft in same timeframe. Recent Example ... 2017 Draft - Ju Ju Smith Schuster - 2nd Round / James Connor 3rd Round
  6. See the blueprints for both the Chicago Bears and LA Rams ... both had 1st year QB's that were not very good ... (granted higher pick/college pedigree than Allen) ... but they backed the truck up and retooled both offenses .. now the difference is they have very aggressive offensive minded HC's ... but they changed both organizations in one year's time from an offensive personnel perspective.
  7. After seeing Will Grier's game yesterday at Texas .. I might lean that way.
  8. Yea at this stage .. I think he's got bad carma .. but at least he's got God on his side to help him with his next career.
  9. Typically I would agree .. but what we have on the field not typical .. in fact approaching historically bad from an offense perspective .. so with a defensive heavy draft or as we get closer to the draft a QB hungry team (circa Bills 2018) .. take the picks and trade down ... I didn't expect a good record this year .. but I didn't expect this offensive debacle.
  10. I actually had to turn to a different game ... feel sorry for those in attendance .. I had to see what real offense looked like for a few minutes today. I actually high fived my son when it was zero - zero after the 1st quarter ... how sad. There are way too many holes ... we need more draft picks ... only sign Offensive Tackles/Guards with FA money (as they will come more easily than other skill positions) .. use the entire draft on offense. And anyone on offense that is a pending FA ... get all the compensatory picks possible .. to quote the movie Frozen with a slight change .. Let them Go!!
  11. Though I hate to admit it ... there is some truth here. What we are doing now is paying up for free agents with this trainwreck. Yes money talks but it will have to talk alot louder to bring any sort of quality offensive personnel to join this dumpster fire.
  12. I miss Edgerrin James and Ed "too tall" Jones myself .. yes let's bring them back.
  13. I'm afraid this is more like a baseball injury ... look how long pitchers sit when they have elbow issues ... his Arm is his asset ... though I want him to be on the field ... the reality is that injury needs to fully heal since its his throwing arm ... the non throwing arm .. a leg .. throw him out there .. the golden arm must heal.
  14. HOLY *$#*_&%$#& ... somebody with a logical narrative ... nice post .. totally agree! It's amazing just last season .. these two were walking on water (sans the Tyrod benching) for bringing a winning record/playoffs ... now they are trash in some people's eyes.
  15. Bottom line .. nothing will happen ... good or bad till after next year ... I believe after blowhard Rex ... the Pegulas made their choice based on a long term version that McD and subsequently Beane sold them (and let's not kid ourselves that those two were likely a package deal from the get go .. Whaley was dead man walking) ... the playoffs last year was a unexpected surprise to all ... the fans, the coach, the GM, and the owners .. but it broke the streak ... so now this year is likely worse than expected (and the QB room and the OL/WR talent is certainly a dumpster fire and they should be blamed) ... but again it was planned to be somewhat bad ... 2019 was and is the swing season ... there is either marked improvement .. or we get ready for the next regime's kool aid.
  16. Damn though I hate it .. that's damn funny
  17. TRUE THAT ... Now that is definitely glass is half full .... I will be watching and hoping .. that maybe .. just maybe .. he just throws to windows (that on occasion he actually does) and doesn't overthink .. for him it definitely cannot get any worse.
  18. If you truly .. I won't say "trust" the process ... but "believe" there is a process.. then you're looking beyond this year and likely next .. that means Shady won't be part of the long term solution ... make the move .. based on draft percentages above ... looks like we have a 1 in 3 shot of getting a starting TE (round 4-6) for Shady .. bring it.
  19. 1. Too much 2. Kyle always has a place on my team 3. If Josh stayed in yes ... just because a rookie .. will be interesting to see if Derek can make KB re-appear 4. Yes and no .. trade down and get OL help 5. Nope ... moreso Daboll .. 6. see #5
  20. Thought 1 - Brandon ... how dare you not look at what you put on the field .. you're not paying the Bills for this (*$#@^(* Thought 2 - Hey Brandon .. are you scouting WR's by looking in the stands? Thought 3 - Brandon .. quit watching the Jets game.
  21. If you are allowing a cancer like Benjamin be in the locker room .. it shocks me we don't bring in Matthews. Dez is too proud of himself to suit up for the Bills in my opinion given the current QB situation. He will be using any team in 2018 as a audition to land on one of the top teams in 2019 and the Bills don't fit that currently.
  22. Totally agree .. .the TD catch by Hopkins was ridiculous as Tre was all over him .. very few if any other WR's pull down that ball ... totally makes you forget about Gilmore
