  1. The Cardinals posted their version and it was super boring, no behind the scenes juice!
  2. IMO Waddle has more value as a swing tackle than feliciano. Also don't see 5 Rbs.
  3. Id rather see what Knox, Croom, Sweeney, etc can do than sign a 1 year guy who's 38/39. Makes more sense for the Pats than for us.
  4. I think with the way free agency and the draft played out, they are going to give one of the many fringe guys a change to win the 6th spot on the roster. Bean was looking ahead to next years draft which is much stronger in the WR department.
  5. So even if I pay an ongodly cable bill and have an ESPN login this is something ELSE they want me to pay for?? Where is the Xfinity/Charter login?
  6. Painful to listen to with his cellphone connection unfortunately. Also threw rex's staff under the bus unprompted which was interesting.
  7. I don't think they keep all of those interior lineman, nor Demarco. Bush also questionable.
  8. Being on the practice squad of a team with a starting QB who is somewhat similar to you is a good situation. He was never going to be someones starter or backup this year.
  9. guy was just undrafted and we are fearful of him clearing waivers? If someone claims him and puts him on their 53 man roster good for him. QBs are overdrafted. If anyone really wanted the project they would have thrown a 7th at it. Its a good fit for Tyree, he can save the expense and hassle of moving, and hopefully get the coaching and practice squad experience he needs.
  10. No, Long can backup all 3 interior spots. Ford gives you flexibility at guard or right tackle. I think the Spain signing cuts Feliciano unless there is injury or they keep him over Teller. Long was bad at center last year but apparently because he was hurt, and its not like Bodine was lighting it up either. Waddle is a much more valuable player as a swing tackle than Feliciano as a backup interior player.
  11. Id keep waddle over Feliciano. Long can backup all 3 interior. Bodine outside chance if he can show he can play some guard although he's likely cut.
  12. Get the best players on the field. Dawkins Spain or Long Morse Ford Nsehke Long or Spain and Waddle backups/swing roles. Ford transitions to right tackle next year, and might kick out to tackle in the event of an injury to Nsehke. Long can play all 3 spots so probably gets the value nod in the swing role, assuming Spain beats him out. Bodine/Teller/Feliciano fighting for last spot. Bias goes to teller as we picked him,. We actually have so many bodies that I could see us trading someone towards the end of camp.
  13. To be fair, many of us reacted the same way with Allen over Rosen. A year later the Cardinals could barely give the kid away, which shows what most of the league thought about him.
  14. David Sills and Tyree Jackson make the class so far.
  15. He's the perfect practice squad QB for us if he doesn't get claimed on waivers at cut down
  16. Projection: Fourth to fifth round Bottom Line Johnson brings quite a bit of experience to the table having received significant starter-level reps at both high school and college level. He’s a type-A personality and the type of player who’ll inspire his teammates to go into battle with him. On the field, he plays with an aggressive, physical demeanor and tracks ball-carriers like a heat-seeking missile. And his tackle numbers as a junior and senior highlight how sound he is at bringing players down once they’re in his grasp. One of the biggest knocks on Johnson centers on his physical traits as he’s far from the tallest safety prospect. And given these size concerns, can he continue to play as physical as he did in college given the power he’ll see at the next level? His play speed might also be a bit of an issue which showed up during the Combine as he ran a 40 that ranked in the 11th percentile. All those weak suits might serve to limit his ceiling. There’s no doubting Johnson’s intangibles. That much is certain given the leadership he demonstrated for his Miami squad. And there are elements of his skill set that hint at him eventually developing into a starter in the NFL. Concerns over height and overall length likely push him into day three of the draft. But that could classify him as a possible late round steal. https://lastwordonprofootball.com/2019/04/23/jaquan-johnson-2019-nfl-draft-profile/
  17. Chris Simms had him third after Devin White/Bush FWIW: https://twitter.com/Natethegreat1st/status/1122140960727560192
  18. Player 100 on the PFF big board. I don't know anything about him, seems like decent value and we needed depth. Cant expect more in the 5th round.
  19. https://lastwordonprofootball.com/2019/03/22/vosean-joseph-2019-nfl-draft-profile/ Projection: Late second to early third round Bottom Line Joseph is a hugely athletic prospect with an above average initial burst that enables him to close on ball-carriers rather easily. He’s incredibly rangy and is stronger than his size would suggest. Those traits allow him to blow up plays in the backfield and force negative plays. He’s also functional as a coverage linebacker which hints that he has every down value. One of the obvious concerns about Joseph is his below-average size. He’s also thinly built below the hips and might need to add some mass to his lower body without it impacting his athleticism. There are also quite a few inconsistencies in his tape, particularly with respect to his instincts and overall body control. Too often, he plows into blockers on plays that roll to the perimeter rather than take a more efficient path to the ball. Ultimately, Joseph’s ideal role at the next level appears to be that of a WILL with the potential to develop into a three-down backer that can wreak havoc as a blitzer and contribute in coverage. Though he might not play more than a reserve role as a rookie, he’ll be a welcome addition to a team’s depth chart. His ceiling is that of a regular starter as an undersized yet immensely athletic player at his position.
  20. I think with the addition of that blocking TE/former o-line kid that DiMarco is out of here
  21. This take just exposes how little he understands our roster and scheme.
  22. QBs always pushed up the board. If we don't get Oliver I hope our phones are ringing to get ahead of Denver for a nice haul.
  23. The short answer is no, we don't. Both might be gone by 9. You probably already would have to trade up just to get Oliver alone. Zero chance to get both.
  24. Draft coverage in general is confirmation bias. Whether it is any of the major networks, Walter grades, etc. You basically plug the pick into their "board" and if it matches up good pick, higher grade "Steal" lower grade "huge reach!"
