They went from making KC earn it to just chunk play after chunk and that never let up essentially, apart from KC’s dumb 3rd down call after the punt return where they took their foot off the gas. Offense just possesses longer for 2 possessions (1 was basically at mid field and we ran it 3x), and the D may have held up.

I’m semi-serious when I say this but at what point does Jordan Palmer just say “Dude I took you as far as I can take you. You’re on another level and can do things I can’t explain let alone teach.” If Allen’s limit is Allen, then he’s going to have to invent new QBing himself cause he’s in uncharted waters. He may revolutionize the position when it’s all said and done.

I don’t know, either. Next time you can’t expect the D to play that bad, but also can’t expect the O to play so great. It’s a very hard game to gauge what to do next imo. Personnel-wise there may be no one that needs changing apart from a couple old guys or FAs. A better scheme on D with same guys coulda won it. More aggression in 3rd quarter by the O and maybe we don’t gas the D like that. So execution could be improved to.

We’re lacking an elite player and emotional leader/captain—Josh’s equivalent on D. The current captain of the D is neither.

I’m not here to crap on Edmunds as bad as most but this D needs a Keuchly-esque MLB and Edmunds ain’t it. easier said than done, I know.

People crapping on DL but they got there, just didn’t tackle—but neither did anyone else! LBs and safeties both played pitiful imo. I’m not saying cut them but that’s the truth. This game is won if Tre White isn’t lost. I don’t know how to fix what I saw honestly.

Great point! 2 3-and-outs and a bomb TD that took like 8 seconds. The D was too gassed cause we never possessed the ball for long periods. Made KC not have to work as hard.

All Defense has to do is tackle well and this is a different game. What are they doing?

The D needs rest. Not sustaining drives on O is a recipe for disaster.

We have 5 legit receivers and they are barely part of the gameplan.

I’m sick of the KC Chiefs and their playing up to the rule book sh!t. They hold on every play on O and on D. Yet they let it slide.
