  1. Great, I loved my kids high school coach and he improved under him so why don't they hire him. He's an up and comer. First off, I think when looking at a coach's resume it's important to look at the material he had to work with. I didn't want Rex and I still wouldn't but I think a lot of fans think a head coach and coordinators can make Fitzpatrick into Brady. The question isn't only how good statistically an offense is under a coach but how good were the players he was coaching. You could hire the Patriots QB coach and find out he's not any better than the Bills QB coach. In Ryan's case he seemed to not get out of his talent what they were capable of. So he's gone. Also, I don't think th gold standard of coaching is whether you coached a Super Bowl team. In fact I personally think Marv Levey went from a highly questioned hire to a Hall of Fame coach because of the team that they assembled.
  2. Not mad at all.....Bro! Just think you're coming across a bit all knowing and arrogant. You've already done all the research it would seem, so why should I bother. I'll have the Bills give you a call.
  3. Okay, seeing as you are informed much more than those running things....please tell us your "outside the box choices". Sorry but this sounds like the experts over at the Range. In today's NFL there are very few coaches that aren't "has beens" and several are excellent coaches. Not meaning to be critical but fans really can act like they know more and we actually know less than the people we're criticizing. Gets old.
  4. What I believe is there are not many of us fans with enough information to make judgements on coordinator hires. Frankly most fans go with name recognition. Also, without good players you aren't going to look too great and with great players your going to look a lot better. Do we think Marv would be in the Hall of Fame without the players he had? I remember him coming over to the Bills and it wasn't with a lot of fans excitement.
  5. Why is it when anyone mentions faith people like you come out of the wood work? Nobody is pushing it on you so what's your problem? Never mind I think I know.
  6. I know this is going to sound arrogant, so I apologise in advance, but the stupidity I see on sports message boards and fans calling into sports stations is amazing. I've pretty much stopped listening to sports radio and considering it about sports forums. Let me be clear about one thing, I assume I know less about the game than those who run or coach team's or most likely I would be in that profession. I didn't like Rex,but he knows more about the game than I'll ever know. I'm not enamored by the Bills playoff drought but no one has called me from the league or the Bills for my advice. Gee, I wonder why?
  7. Thank you. Someone who has been "where the buck stops" is always it seems slower to pass judgment. Those that haven't been in that position are the fastest to judge.
  8. That's the position I would have liked for him to have with the Bills. I have thought they need someone to oversee the football operations. The ownership is relatively new in this and need an outside person with experience to come in and evaluate this. I'm not sure they can lean on Brandon and Whaley as they have too much to protect at this point.
