My reference to politicians and their family members not "serving" was not meant to point to anyone in particular but a general comment. My problem with Trump is he lies even beyond what we've now accepted as normal political lies. Further he doesn't express my personal views of what our country's ideals have been previously been promoted. While I don't necessarily agree with all the positions taken by our previous two presidents I do believe them to be good men and well meaning. Trump I feel neither about. This is my opinion and all are free to have their own.

I served and would refuse to serve again under this commander in chief. Maybe he should serve and how about this...how many of these flag waving congressmen have served or their kids. This bs that everyone who "serves" is a hero? That's a discredit to real heroes. I served during Vietnam, I'm not a hero and my service has nothing to do with my right to speak out but defends the rights for all to do so. Phoney patriotism that's nothing but flag waving is just bs.

You don't know how teams will shake out but looking at it now looks pretty hard. If it proves out it will make for a tough yer for our new coaches. Maybe that should be a consideration when evaluating them next season.

Bottom line..if you don't keep Tyrod do you really think you have an upgrade over the next two seasons? I don't. If you draft one chances are slim he would be ready in that time frame. So, you think a Cutler or a comparable guy in the league now that's available to be an upgrade? I don't. Let's face it Tyrod is in all probability as good as you will have for the next couple years. Do I think he's a long-term franchise guy? No, but it is what it is. If they are willing to pay him....go for it.

Never said coaching means nothing. Tell me, would Marv be in Hall coaching this team? Would he take this team to four Super Bowls? If so why do I recall so many fans griping when the Bills hired him? Coaching means something but not as much as most of us seem to think. I didn't like Rex, but many did.

Not trying to do anything my friend. Please do give us your personal expertise. Are you now or have you ever coached at the college or professional level? Or as most fans gained expertise from sports forums or talk shows? I readily will admit I'm not an expert, so please give me some room for not being one.

At this time that seems a little over the top.

My guess is fans don't know enough about coaching to make judgements one way or the other. Fans tend to go by name recognition or stats. Problem is that most coaches are as good as their players. This negates a lot of arguments for or against a certain coach. For instance why love for Childress and the opposite for Olsen? Frankly I would have to personally go back over all the players they have coached and compare those players at whatever stage in their careers they were at and then try to see if the stats lined up with the level of talent. Problem is as a fan I neither have time or desire to do that. So I assume those people in the business know a lot more than I do.
