  1. No better something he's capable of. Monitoring tweet traffic.
  2. Of course the anti Allen clan will jump on this as gospel. The others have their own gospel that Allen should be #1. After all the bull has been thrown around we'll know tomorrow night won't we? Oh, that's right. I forgot that's when the bull becomes that's a terrible pick and we got a great pick there. Lucky he was there. Why didn't we trade up fire Beane!!!! Boy our GM is a genius!!!! Love it.
  3. Some posters on here are so arrogant. They watch a few games, drink a little and become NFL talent evaluators. They don't know squat any more than the rest of us and they certainly aren't being g recruited by NFL team's.
  4. I would take any of them but depending on where we pick them. If we trade up I would limit it to Darnold or Mayfield. I would take Rosen at anywhere 8-12. I'm not ready to give up too much fir Rosen at this point but I'll trust Beane and company to make the decision. I'm about even on Allen or Rosen. The rest keep our picks and take one late in first or second round.
  5. I'm on the other side. I would take Allen before Rosen. Rosen character and durability worry me. If we keep our picks I would take him but giving up picks to move up for him I think is risky.
  6. Fans start living with the fact that in spite of all our capital it just may not be enough to get that quarterback we want. Too many teams in the market.
  7. I'm so sick of that draft chart.
  8. Definitely these quarterbacks have been over hyped by fans but I'm sure not by GM's as much. Will be interesting on draft day.
  9. Probably true. I'm amazed at how serious and angry some fans are. Is a football team the center of the universe? I'm a fan since they came into the league but they are down the list a way as far as priorities and emotional investments go. I can't bring myself to the level of love or hate some fans seem to profess. The old saying "it's just a game" is true if we step back a bit.
  10. In the end I trust the scouts,GM's, and coaches opinions before anyone's opinion on here. That doesn't mean I don't respect our rights to our opinions but all said and done I'll go with the guys in the league not us fans.
  11. Exactly how I see it. If anyone has the assets to move up it's the Bills. If they stay put it is one, no one wanted to move down(doubtful) or two, they didn't want to move up and take plan B. Jackson at #12 and rest of our picks would still be opportunity to a great draft.
  12. How do you know?
  13. True they"could be" and that's my point. What if their not your two top rated. That seems to be critical when thinking of trading to even #6. Again it comes down to value our front office and scouting staff have on each of these guys. What's the cost to get #5 as compared to the value of the guy you think will be there at #5. Just because we want a quarterback doesn't,in my mind, warrant grossly overpaying on what is a reach or someone you have not clearly rated better than say a Jackson for instance. If the two remaining are your top two rated obviously you trade up. I doubt that would be the case but suppose it's possible.
  14. The question I think is not can we trade up and get one of those four guys but are they all rated high enough to spend the capital for. Personally I think the odds are two will be gone by #5 and there is a lesser possibility that three could be but I doubt it. So are your third and fourth ranked guys worth spending those picks to get up to #5 or do you wait and hold your picks. To me Rosen looks like he may drop into the 8-12 range fir instance. Mayfield I don't believe will get past #3. So, who is Cleveland eyeing at quarterback?
  15. I'm leaning toward this thinking. I'm not at all sure Giants will trade down and pretty sure not all the way to #12. I also don't think Cleveland will move from #4 to #12. That could mean it's #5 or we stay put where we are . Now that's assuming they like all four quarterbacks. If they are interested in just say two then they probably wait until Denver is up .
  16. I can only say that I'd hate to be under the pressure of the guy we spent what it's probably going to take to trade up to get. Fans will jump on him so bad if he doesn't turn out to be the next Jim Kelly.
  17. If a guy can play I could care less. Frankly I never have or ever will look for role models in sports or hollowwood. I could care less what they think politically.
  18. Say a Tom Brady for instance sure would be enthusiastic. Just sayin'
  19. That may be my biggest attraction to him.
  20. Bradford? Fill me in on this guy.
  21. I was being a bit sarcastic in post but in all seriousness aren't all these quarterbacks a real risk in paying to move up into top four picks? Jets trade seems to indicate what it would take .
  22. Rosen is a couple concussions from retirement.
