  1. Pretty much describes the station. I don't care for the whole batch it's been ages since I actually listened to a program on WGR unless a news worthy event has taken p!ace. Some of their staff is pathetically young.
  2. An ok coach but not a great one.......oh, in my opinion that's true of the GM. Let's see if the next few seasons prove my opinion correct or incorrect.
  3. Diggs is the typical diva wide out with great talent. Not has ever been about team in my opinion. This seems to be prevalent with "name" wide receivers.
  4. I could pick up 3rd and long against our secondary. That's not a new thing . Not sure if it's our players or defensive scheme but suspect the former.
  5. You're probably right on a lot of what you say but given the Buffalo market size and the national television coverage it's understandable to go this route. We were blessed to have RJ all those years and we'll probably not have another one in my opinion.
  6. Frankly, they need variety in pass game more than Diggs. Josh now can spread it around rather than keep Diggs happy.
  7. As is true of all media. Journalism is dying.
  8. That's an example? Maybe I missed it.
  9. Disagree. While it's true the Sabres have been out of the playoffs for ages I think they may be turning the corner and have collected a lot of young talent. KA isn't perfect but in all honesty given the difficulty of drafting 17-18 year olds he's not done bad. I know people here love Beane and I like him as well but I'm not convinced going forward the next few years the Sabres will finally get it together. The Bills may take step back as they regroup.
  10. Still think with all the defensive players on the board because so many offensive players taken if you weren't going to take receiver at 28 take BPA rather than trade down with KC. You still get your receiver round 2. Of course I'm for taking BPA in first round in almost every draft. Other tan that Beane ran pretty good draft it seems.
  11. Except he has us in cap hell. So he doesn't have much to work with.
  12. If Beans is serious why didn't he use the first pick for defense where there wss great value after a run of offense for over half the round. Beane and I get laughed off for this but talks good, looks good but is not a great GM. He's not bad but not great as many fans have him.
  13. We don't have cap room for much it would seem to me.
  14. Based on we need drafted players because we have no cap space. This was a draft when we should have taken defensive BPA in first round.
  15. The glow is off for Beane. Not great draft and in cap hell. I've thought he's okay but not the great GM many think.
  16. Offense I'm not that worried. I think our defense could be our downfall. Our secondary could be one of the leagues weakest. Hope I'm wrong.
  17. My guess is KC gave up a third for a player very likely was there for them at 30. The Bills obviously didn't want Worthy at 28 and KC didn't want to see him go at #29 possibly. In any case we came out of round one with nothing. #28 is not a great position to be selecting it was going to be trade up or down.
  18. First round you take BPA every time.
  19. This old man won't last for our pick without a big trade up. Of course at 81 my passion has dropped. Ok, I can see the feedback coming already on the passion usage.
  20. I tend to agree. Spread the ball around and look at a control game utilizing the run as well.
  21. Agree there. Just don't ask tax payers to build something for you. Charge all you want for your product but seems tax payers in effect own part of Mr. Pegulas product namely the stadium.
  22. Sorry, wasn't thinking PSL's strictly. More our tax payers paying for stadiums. Don't think that would pass. Then fans have to pay this PSL fee. Now that's a fans choice I agree. And I said if they do fine but don't complain about your taxes. Bottom line I think all stadiums being built using our state taxes would not pass a popular vote.
  23. But it's still the demand of the minority. Put these to a public vote statewide and it goes down but you'll never see that.
