I apologize if this has been mentioned... but what I don't get... or buy.. is that if Coach is such a 'Di$!', why do players continue to renew their contracts with the Bills (unlike past regimes) let alone, some players beg to come back on discounts (Phillips, Lawson, even Bease for that matter). Really? Taking the Jets (blow heart) scraps.. Didn't we do that once before? How did that work out for us? (Sigh) I guess folks are going to pick a side on this one and dig in even more.. but considering where the Bills were before McDermott arrived, and more importantly, the expectations that have been built because of the culture McDermott has built, I think he is owed a little bit more then dumping him the one season we didn't meet expectations, which is most likely the result of catastrophic defensive injuries. This.. I know everybody (including myself) would like us to be the reincarnate of the 85 Bears / 2000 Ravens / 2002 Bucs defence.. but unfortunately that died when Micah and Von went down. We are now the epitome of a 'bend don't break defense'... Many teams (including the Chiefs) have won Superbowls with similar type defenses... Those chances increases significantly when you have a hybrid Superhero Buffalo behind center Go Bills!

Hopefully this does not come to fruition... remember the 'meaningful' stat that the Bills are 0-3 when Josh catches a pass. (Texans playoff games of 2019, Cardinals Hail Murray debacle in 2020, and 2 point conversion against Titans in MNF' in 2021)

I also think they have been playing this when there is an extended injury on the field. I think they played it three times last week after Mike White felt the PAIN. Go Bills!

This. End of the day, and no offense to the OP, but what is the point of this thread. This team could be easily undefeated but in all three games we beat ourselves (in spite of injuries). I think there was genuinely an expectation amongst some Bills fans that this team would go undefeated and dominate each of those games. That narrative became even more 'real' because of how much we dominated in the first 2 games of the year. As much as people 'poo poo' the statement.. it is hard to win in the NFL... but at this point, I would continue to celebrate that from Top to bottom of this organization we are top 5 in this league, and, most likely for many years to come. You can call it drinking the kool aid, or wearing rose colored glasses, but I call it being realistic. This is a fantastic team that can genuinely win any given Sunday and to not embrace that after 17 years of mediocrity, well, kind sir, for many reasons lacks some level of rational perspective. Go Bills!

I had a get together / cook out for the game and invited a couple of Chiefs fans.. fed them, gave them drinks, and made no kermit jokes.

My buddy and I were watching the game outdoors (Lucky enough to have a TV in our backyard.. fall out from the pandemic and living in Canada) but as soon as the Bills were down 20-3.. I said we needed to make some in game adjustments and moved the game inside to the man cave (More pandemic fall out). Cue the comeback. Go Bills!

I will preface this statement by saying I am a big fan of Isiah Mackenzie. He is quirky (which I can relate to) and seems to be a genuinely good dude... I still love the story about Christmas Eve last year. Furthermore, he has produced way more then I thought he would've based on how we acquired him (Believe we nabbed him of the Broncos practice roster in 2018)... and I am always looking for him on the field... because we he gets the ball, he seems to produce way way more often than not. However, does anybody think that part of Dorsey's freak out may have been because Mackenzie didn't do something he was supposed to do there.. Ie: what he was coached to do vs what he ended up doing? I know it's a stretch.. but between Lil Dirty being benched last year and then I seem to remember Josh potentially jawing at Mackenzie during the game on the sideline (I could have imagined this, I am still going through my 7 stages of BIlls grief right now), I think the "Face of the Franchise" could be free wheeling at times which may be holding him back on playing time / bigger plays. Go Bills!

The more and more feedback I get about this game, I continue to slot this game as an 'outlier' of what the Bills are. More specifically, this game is very similar to the Pats/Bills MNF game from last year where the environment played a more critical role then their opponent. With that said, I am starting to lose some confidence that we can win the tight games. This dichotomy of winning either big or losing small has definitely become a trend now (Ex the Colts game from last year) and you have to think, it is a monkey on the Bills back. I would think winning one or two close games will help them move on from this narrative that could begin to define them. Go Bills!

Needless to say, what is most concerning about these injuries, is if we see any additional injuries to the DLine or our DB's on Sunday. That would be quite a blow to a D that's been playing lights out. The flip side to this, as an earlier poster alluded to, just like the Pats were to the Bills, the Bills are in the Dolphins heads (Insert Josh Allen for Tom Brady as well) . With that said, I have to imagine, that if we do beat them on Sunday, the loss will be a significant blow to the Fish psyche and would wipe out most of the confidence (arrogance) that they built after the Ravens comeback victory. As well, if we win, I can see us running away with the division and have it locked up before December comes around. Go Bills!

Long time listener, first time caller here... and I think this may have been discussed before.. but a recent ESPN article on Russ Wilson, he reminded everybody that Seattle tried to trade him for the first overall pick in the 2018 draft (owned by the Browns at the time) and with that pick, Seattle would would have (supposedly) selected JA17. I think the Ravens not investing in WR's or getting him to run speaks more to Jackson's skillset then the Ravens organization. I am in no way a fan of the Ravens... but to say they do not have a top 5 organization from top to bottom would be 'very dumb'
