Moves that I think can help this team now.

Hes BACK!!!! BTW I am assuming ya missed the Cards game since Bills won -
this is another game when someone gets called for helmet to helmet. These are bogus calls, Adams was just tackling and actually QB head came forward to hit sams helmet. What a lousy call.

One other thing they ran well with him in and it was always him pulling and running to the right. They willl have to telegraph it less if its going to become a successful thing. At first we thought ref was nuts on false start penalty number 97 but than saw him trotting off the field.

Well I know is all 7 people coming to the game with me are still planning on going, our annual pilrgimage. I can only see my wife skipping if its cold and rainy and they may not be enough excuse for her. -
Didnt get to catch post game shows was Travis benched or did he reagravate injury? If so maybe its time for Mularkey to bench Drew if JP is ready. Seemed like the game plan againts the Ravens was a 3 receiver formations with alot of going down field was this explained as why they thought that game plan would work? Also why cant we run a decent damn draw play or a decent screen?
-
As a long time Bills fan I am not going to blame all the ills on a single player but being honest with myself I can clearly see that new focus of QB coaching hasnt helped Drew much at all. His passes are high, wide etc, and the patting the balls has attritbuted to fumbles etc. Its time to move on and see what JP can do even with this patchwork crap of an Oline. See if we can put some decent deals next year to get a fourth rounder for drew and maybe a high second for Travis. With the first pick of the second round of the 2006 draft the Buffalo Bills select a stud center

Just a Few Examples: Want to restrict womens right to choose Want to restrict marriage to be between man and a women Want to restrict gay couples any rights to participate in decisions for the partner Want to force all children to pray in school to a christian God Want to force religious beliefs on the rest of world Want to prohibit protest rights of an individual

This place a lot safer than the wall.
spidey replied to _BiB_'s topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Bib I think both the wall and PPP are the same. Remember the Flutie/Johnson division sames is true in Amercian Politics. This division in Politics happened after Clinton was elected and some republicans fekt the presidency is their God given right. On the wall it was the Johnson?flutie thing but again indicative of what has happened in society in general. -
Problem is now travis is worth nor more than a third rounder based about how he is playing this year.

What has the pats record been since Drew left or was not the starter?

Bush/Cheney vs Kerry/Edwards: Campaign Terror Tact
spidey replied to Chilly's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I think that when its all over no matter the outcome the Kerry Campaign will go down as one of the most inept ever created. I think a fundamental problem is somehow his handlers felt they needed to almost say the same things the conservatives spew god, country blah, blah, blah. If he had just run on the economy and the improper ways this administration executed the war in Iraq this race would be over game set match. What mostly concerns me about this entire election that NOT ONE person in the republican party spoke up and challenged this president in the primaries to try to reshape the agenda and message to the more moderate/centrist message that most of the party and american public believes in. As I read more and more of the posts on why people align themselves to republican party I realize its time to change my party affiliation since the brainwashing by the right wing is much deeper than I ever imagined it was. -
Why I Am A Republican ... Re-Editted
spidey replied to ubhockey's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
On your points you actually sound like you have been brainwashed by the likes of Rush etc. 1) I guess you imply that a democrat can not be a strong world leader? I guess ya never heard of FDR. 2)You imply that only republicans are willing to fight war on terror? 3)How do republicans protect these thibgs you list 4) No democrat can be a patriot? Better make all those damn libs leave the military 5)Republicans consistent on views? They wanted to protect segregation, against womens rights etc. Against gay's unless daugther is one. 6)Cant argue since have yet to see if Kerry can be a strong world leader. But right now I see neither providing leadership. -
Why I Am A Republican ... Re-Editted
spidey replied to ubhockey's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So the intent of your post was to say why you are a republican and no where in the above post do I see reasons for your republican views? All I see is hate of the democrats. You talk about NY being run for decades by liberals, somehow you are convinced every democrat is a liberal, just like others who brand every republican a conservative. I guess you are too young to rememeber that Nelson Rockefeller and the republican party ran NY state during the late 60s and early 70's. I guess you also dont realize that current Governor of NY is also a republican and has received support from many democrats and criticism from the NY Conservative Party. So try again and provide the reasons you are a republican? -
Looks like Putin understands terrorism

Well the literacy rate is higher than in the US, they have no military, have relatively nice weather and have some lovely beaches. Plus the Costa Rican coffee is the best in the world. -
Will let you know in two weeks. If I am not asked for ID or showing voter card or anything but name and address I plan on letting the polling folks know that its absurd that I can vote by just telling them who I am and what my address is.

BiB this was a fantastic essay. You have provided a detailed argument for your view. Hopefully another non partisan view. On 9/11 I wanted to have let some nukes fly. The gut wrenching outrage I had seeing planes plowing into buildings and knowing that war has arrived on American soil was one thing. But seeing the reaction in certain middle east countries of people and children celebrating in the streets was another. I must give our president credit for not going off the handle and just sending weapons flying until we new for sure who attacked us, if I was president I am not sure I could have had restrain. I supported the administration when they went after the Taliban since they provided the safe haven for al-Qaida. The world community also supported this effort since it was al-Qaida that attacked America. Iraq is a totally different issue. Yes the intelligence community thought that Iraq had a WMD program. Yes we know that Saddam was a brutal dictator and should have been dealt with properly after his invasion of Kuwait. If inspectors would have been allowed to continue and not found WMDs what ground would the US have for the invasion of Iraq? What proof did we have that Iraq and al-Qaida were linked in any way? This is why the most respected country in the world, the United States of America, has lost some of that respect of some of our allies by going into Iraq without proven justification. As the only super power left I believe we have an obligation to lead the world in a behaviour that sets the examples for others. -

I just love how some fail to acknowledge that GWB was running the country on 9/11. I also love how they claim that if Kerry is elected we will be attacked again. So the terrorists were so afraid of W that they decided to go ahead with the plan 9 months after he took office? What you folks fail to see is that Clinton did go after Osama and friends after the Cole but the intelligence community never could pinpoint him or when they did they had no assets in the area to take him out. Invasion of afghanistan or Iraq after the Cole would have caused the republicans and most of the american public to go nuts. This type of action would have been unjustified just as the invasion of Iraq this time around was.
