Great points....I guess I was saying meaningless in the context of just the top 10 teams. Being number one at this juncture can be no more important than number ten. As a Bama fan, if the Tide are ranked lower than 10 the season is a bust before it starts.....I try not to fall into that entitled Patriots fan trap.

Most of the sports talk media are no more factually informed than a bunch of drunks talking **** around the burn barrel. (Exception: if the burn barrel is in Buffalo the drunks are way more informed and accurate)

Every year I try to think of a new reason to hate Brady. Every year he hands that reason to me. Like flopping in front of the ref when a player brushed his shoulder after the play. He is a laser surgeon with making the short passing game into a quasi-running game. But never will I admit he's the greatest of all time. Think about that term "greatest of all time". With that title your record better be squeeky clean and not full of ass-terixs. As for the Kelly comparison....I agree with all the apples and oranges comments here. How would the two compare in the same era....we will never know. We can opine until the sun goes down...and never come to an accurate conclusion.

That was my thought on the almost pick 6. My first thought was if that was Allen the ball would have gotten to the receiver a nano second earlier....CB was playing the ball....catch and run for 10 or more yards. On the other hand, Peterman did see the blitz coming from the right on one play took a one step drop and hit the unattended TE for a nice completion. For that play my thought was ..... I wonder if Allen would have seen that. Conclusion: Allen can pick that stuff up, doubt Peterman can aquire Allen's arm.

Like it or not the media will proclaim who is the better QB drafted after seeing Mayfield and Allen in the same game. Just like the announcers got a chubby when Barkley ripped his first run in an NFL game.....the learning curve is way different for every rookie so let's relax and enjoy the show!
