It’s the look of it, that bothers me. There appears to always be a little twist to the thing, amplified over distance, where the kick rarely goes dead center. You have a very good grasp with that comment. I must say that sometimes, with the individual of the world stature of a Brady, it puts proper focus on these issues. So,it’s not huge overall, but good that it was focussed on. There are kinds of sub issues here. 1) The appropriateness of certain words and what consequences they bear. 2) The legality of certain words in some jurisdictions and the different legal responses applied, where one does NOT have the “right” to say anything. 3) The use of certain rude words and whether, in polite conversation they should be used and whether anything at all should be done in response. I personally try to avoid use of many words of 1), all of 2), but do indeed use some of the worst in 3). Only a few persons need to be pilloried, but in this case, certainly not the GOAT.

PLUS… you have these little scat RBs… plural… who can move quickly and catch and YAC quickly on screens and dump offs! Well, without going too heavily into the political, America comes down first, foremost and always on its specified Amendment- Freedom of Speech! ANY speech! The Good, the Great,the Bad & the very Ugly. Whether stupid or insensitive, racist or homophobic, it’s all acceptable legally. So, even though one should keep control of one’s manners in America, there is no impediment/ requirement to do so. This is simply not the case in other democracies, where language is not simply offensive, it’s illegal. As in prosecutable,under the criminal codes. However, this is a difficult concept to raise with many persons raised on being able to say whatever they choose.
