After 4 years of dominance in the AFC-E, “I have no idea” is a strong condemnation of their chances in 2024. And most of us would agree! There are simply too many unknown balls in the air. Another thread posted the Top 5/6 dominant offensive teams this year ( SF, Miami, Philly, Cinci, Det, Hou) and the Bills play SIX games against those! We now have two very questionable kickers, including the most critical one, who last seen, shanked us out of the Playoffs! And the D. WERE they AVERAGING 400 yards given up during the past 4 critical Playoff losses? Are they any better? Finally, we have “13 Seconds” McD. I simply cannot EVER get around that HOFailure blown Lombardi opportunity. And, if I didn’t see the other defensive meltdowns, at least I’d think they were still there. I am reduced to hope- only because we have the wonderful Unicorn. But, I am very afraid that if the Shakirs, Cooks, Colemans & Kincaids don’t step up… waaaay up… 17 will try and shoulder his way to Ws. Getting far too dangerous for that.

What is clearly not right is the total inability to defend in the most critical of playoff moments. The worst choke job by a HC in 13 seconds of NFL History. ALL ON McD! 2022- Embarassed & Unprepared by Cinci…at Home… in the Snow! NEVER in it. D gives up 412 yards! 2023- KNOWING THAT YOUR D FUBARS EVERY CRITICAL GAME, you are 100% exercising the correct formula to have one last long drive v.s. KC. Your D can’t stop almost any KC drive (361 yards), so you must use the game plan v.s. the Oct 2, 2022 Season Winning Ravens game at Baltimore. That is, bleed every KC TO and use almost all the time- which they were doing. Needing one more First Down to accomplish that, they go rogue script followed by the idiot kicker shanking. To me, that was on McD to remind Allan to do that. Because,you can’t EVER trust the Defense. I need to see Defensive competence against the host of good teams on the regular schedule this year, to give me any confidence, this terrible losing factor has been changed, should they make the Playoffs.

Every year, I like to make a few Divisional Winner bets pre- season. However, I never choose big favourites that are negative money. e.g. The Chiefs are -250 to win the AFC-W. It’s never easy… but… Just to demonstrate how quickly these things compound, let’s use the following illustration. A $100 3 Team Divisional Parlay involving the AFC-E Bills (favourite) +170 + AFC-N Cinci Bengals (2nd Favourite) +165 + NFC-N Green Bay (2nd Favourite) +200 = $2146.50

Sort of. For the Bills, you get back $280. Your original $100 + that x1.80 = $280. To make this simpler, if the Bills were +$100 you obviously get back $200 if the Bills win the AFC-E.
