The thing about him, which Reid knew, but NOBODY else did is that he was a HS Pitcher… with a NO HITTER! So, only someone who did zero due diligence investigation- hello OBD, would not have known he had pinpoint accuracy. AND of course, he was the son of a very good MLB Pitcher! A terrible miss. Explaining where and how you failed, is the sign of a quality manager and person. As is promising to do better. Telling ANYONE how you will accomplish this is both foolish and can doom you to more failure! DO NOT!

McDs 13 seconds of idiocy, Beane’s inability to draft ANY defensive stars, Special Team failures in critical moments, a few questionable & incorrect calls by the Refs and mix in a tiny dollop of Allen misfires and you have the loser stew we have. Anybody watching any of these games see that the prime culprit is a Defense that can do neither- aggressively rush and sack the QB; nor cover ANYBODY… down field, coming out of the backfield, anywhere! Clearly, Allen gets the job done in a range from very acceptable - record breaking on Offense. The D coughs it up… every KC time! They were 29th on the critical 3rd Down coverage, as exemplified by Mahomes last pass on 3rd and 9! NINE! So Beane needs to get at least one side or the other- superlative edge rushers or coverage that is close… like in the TV picture as the Pass hits the Receiver. And if the absolute busts of Knox, Kincaid, Coleman & Cooper are not viewed positively going forward… get Tee Higgins!

In ALL of these terrible KC Losses, he bared some responsibility- minimal range. Except ‘13 seconds’, where his responsibility is 0%! Absolutely, ***** nada! For most of these, I rank: 1) The D ( at least a majority %) 2) McD (a significant minority %) 3) OCs ( a significant minority %) 4) ST Coaches ( a highly annoying minority %) 5) Various players who failed in critical situations, usually by failed kicks or dropping balls from Allen… right in their hands!

Is it too much to ask that the defender wraps up the Receiver 2 yards from the First Down marker? NO TO ALL IF YOU HAVE THE 29th RANKED & PATHETIC 3RD DOWN D! 🤬

Allen guided them to FOUR TD marches! Making it one of the 6 Losers in the 85-6 (4TDs + 0 Turnovers Playoff record since 1972! * Of course, a stone hands TE could have caught a 4th Down desperation toss on the Chiefs 33 yard Line! * A referee could not have overturned a critical 4th Down sneak for a First Down! * Or confirmed a critical 3rd Down Chiefs catch where the ball hits the ground! I trust that those fentanyl hits are great; because this take was pathetic… pathetically wrong, wrong and wrong!

As a septuagenarian, I am more discouraged than Josh Allen’s postgame presser. Allen did not come through with the Lombardi ticket. Allen is likely to go to the HOF, but is not even up to Peyton Manning standards- yet! Mahomes is neck and neck with Brady standards (and not the highly conservative play calling OC yesterday!). And about to surpass him! PERIOD! But Allen was named a 2nd Team All Pro this year. He was the ONLY BILLS ALL PRO! I’m not going to go through the entire All Pro teams, but let’s take the critical- for Allen, WR group. Shakir is nice, but is ANYBODY even close to Pros Chase, Jefferson, St.Brown, McLaurin, Lamb, AJ Brown? Are they even on the same field? The TEs (Knox & Kincaid) are stone hands (3 catches for 20 yards in the AFC Championship game) failures! The RBs are okay, but not in the same galaxy as the All Pros. But it is the D… where there is absolutely NOBODY of the highest quality! Nobody. Edge, Interior and LBs are vastly inferior. They get no push. No power, no speed. No nada! And let’s not even get to the weak links… players who aren’t even in the TV picture on Pass coverage. Frequently, giving up the classic 3rd and 9s, just like they did with the final nail in the Bills coffin… yesterday. And let’s just say this. McD will never be Andy Reid, let alone Spags! Aside from Allen, Beane is a bust and a minor leaguer compared to Veach! FFS, the dude they GAVE to the Chiefs had 6 catches for 85 yards + 2 runs for 16!!! Coleman had ONE… ONE catch for 12 yards! Unless, all of that changes or Kermit & Andy get hurt, retire, etc., the Bills can never, ever beat the Chiefs! They need so much more to help 17! Much, much more!

The woeful McD D. Can’t cover anybody. Rarely, can they contain or Pass Rush EVERY ***** YEAR, THE POS D CANNOT MAKE THE STOP! They are always the ones on the field as the clock drives down to another loss!
