It is totally why they have captured the imagination and love of a city and a country! On it goes. I agree with EVERYTHING the OP said. Going in, all/ most of us knew this D is a disaster! it can’t rush. It can’t cover. it can’t tackle. Until it gets that right, the O must carry them. We suspected that Beanie’s terrible decision to not obtain a WR 1 or at least 2, via Draft or FA was a bad problem of his own making. They just do NOT have the talent to separate! Just heard Chris Brown’s analysis of this last night. Of 17s 11 incompletions, two were INTs, but the other NINE were into contested coverage. That is, NOBODY gets ***** open! And, like so many posters who said so simultaneously as the game wound down, WHERE TF was # 4? Clearly, the most talented Bill on the field other than Josh. and able to actually get separation and make big gains by RECEIVING the ball!!! Conversely, Tom Brady Penix was 20/32. Two were tipped balls or coverage. Meaning? 7 he flat out missed wide open targets! That’s right. Our MVP couldn’t find an open target all night. Shitbox Penix on this shitbox Falcons team MISSED 7 wide open targets that could have added to their stats. WHO is it to blame.
