Monumental ? Nah. But, a MUST, critically important Divisional Game? ABSOLUTELY! After playing a Tire Fire for a generation, especially against the Cheatriots, it’s fun time to wax them! But like many here, I don’t care if they’ve shrunk to Little Sisters status- which they haven’t! Winning this one means a 3 game cushion for the all important AFC-E title! Lose and you’re in trouble, as NE has the easier sked running out. And perhaps, the Fish. Just win Baby!

Sean McDermott is the 2nd Best Coach in Bills History

Ok... I’m stoned and back in what year? 2006... 2010... 2013...? Which one was the most preposterous Forum trolling ever done about phantom accomplishments for Bills Coaches, GMs or QBs? McDermott hasn’t accomplished jack. Has a 15% winning percentage v.s. Playoff teams of the same year! Led the Bills to 0 Division Titles, 0 SBs, 0 AFC Championships & 0 Playoff Wins! C’mon man....We’re laughing at you. -
I’m always looking for Playoff Ws. Like, there have been sooooo many of those since 1995! 1995!!! The Bills are 1/8 teams that haven’t played in a Conference Championship since 1996. That’s how pitiful, they have been. 24 freaking years! 25 without a Playoff W. That’s why I said earlier that the minimum bar is to beat Playoff Teams at a 50% rate minimum, so that you win your Division and finish 1/2 in the Seedings. In that way, I obviously believe the goal should be to reach the Conference Championship. By winning Playoff games. But, If you can’t beat a majority of Playoff teams during the Reg Season, then you are most likely not making them. Nor, beating anyone, should you have the luck of the stiff 2019 sked. A la McClapper.

The assumption is obviously- if you can beat Playoff Teams at a 50% rate, you can surely win, at least one Playoff game yourselves. If you can only do that between 10-20%, you’re obviously far, far, far from Prime Time and Playoff Ws! And, it is highly unlikely there has been a signature W, against a star studded, healthy opponent. Like the Bills have been this entire generation, including under McClapper!

Missing 4FGs? Hey, that’s on them! But never seen again Mariota + Jacoby WHO + the Boston College Starters? Interesting. Count in my overall Stats, but clearly zippo a defining moment! BEAT the Hawks this year with Russell or the Squeelers with Big Ben? Then, a gigantic, moving forward check mark gets put up!

Week 8: Patriots at Bills

Did everyone see the final Fig Newton Pass the other day? A 7 yard quacker right into the ground! Looked terrible, as did his arm. Something up there? Even with the Bills looking off recently, I expect them to beat the Cheats easily, here. -
No. This is an excellent thread. And various people have defined their line in the sand for that purpose. Some, like me, set the bar high, demanding excellence. Others, like to go low... simply accepting low mediocrity bar after a generation of horrific play- like beating a winning team or even...”we’re not the JESTS or previously... the Clowns!” NOOOOO! You never use the worst teams in the league in a given year, as a point of comparison, that you are better! NEVER... EVER! Nor, is it,when you beat Scrooge McDuck, the 3rd. String QB of the Steelers. Beat KC with Paddy Mahomes, Beat Ben. Beat Brady! 🙄 ”Signature Ws” are, at the highest level, did you beat the SB Champ of that year- something I highly doubt the Bills have done in a generation. But, something BOTH the Raiders and Cardinals May have accomplished already- in 2020! Next? Did the Bills beat ANY Championship finalist of the same year? NO... again! MY bar is the next in line. Did you beat any Playoff teams of the same year? PLUS, have you done this at an approx. 50% winning rate? The answer to that question, both pre and post McD is NO! And worse under McDermott! They will certainly have opportunities against Seattle, Arizona, the 9ers and Pitt coming up.
