  1. I would guess we end up rolling with Hughes, Lotulelei, Oliver, Addison, Epenesa, Butler, Phillips, Obada, and Rousseau. Is Johnson PS eligible anymore? If not, then maybe they keep him over Phillips or Butler, but I doubt that. Edit: Given how many times Beane mentioned Johnson in his presser last night, I would definitely lean towards Phillips or Butler being the odd man out, especially with how many snaps they seem to be projecting our DEs to be able to play inside.
  2. Nah, if we could go back to back years nabbing our DEs of future in Epenesa and Rousseau, then imho that is 100% the way to go Heck, we could still end up with Jevonte Williams in this draft
  3. If we can get a defensive lineman on the Bills with as quick of hands as Buddy Rich, then we're set
  4. Apologies if a repost. Edit: Doesn't break down a lot of games, but pretty accurate projection from the Fall - says he is a project who could go around 30. Somewhat down on him just from this film and opinion that he went up against subpar offensive line talent.
  5. See I feel Bonham could also play anything (Fool in the Rain as an example), but we're splitting hairs regardless haha cheers!
  6. I saw that post and looked like the cat in your picture Love Peart and think he's excellent technically, but Bonham just had that feel and power that may never be matched
  7. Obviously not grinding tape, just watching highlight videos, but a few things I like about GR: (1) he seems to have good vision while rushing the passer, allowing him to track the QB as he climbs the pocket instead of rushing around and missing him (as we have seen Hughes do from time to time) (2) this goes hand in hand with the above point, but he seems to stay with plays until the end (3) he does a good job of staying low, which is impressive with such a large frame, but what is even more impressive is he seems to then be able to finish by further using his frame to reach out and strip/trip/arm tackle (4) a few of the sacks in his highlights were in the 4th quarter in close games vs. programs like FSU and Pitt - i.e., they mattered (5) the idea of him sacking Cam/Mac/Zach/Tua in Buffalo and the crowd going "ROUUUUUUUUUSS"
  8. Oh man I hope so. The MCU merch mash-up possibilities are endless. Edit: "Around the Miami campus, Rousseau has gained plenty of nicknames. Groot, inspector Gadget, and Elastic Man all can fairly describe the 6-6 phenom." (https://lastwordonsports.com/collegefootball/2019/11/05/greg-rousseau-miamis-next-superstar/)
  9. Why move him to TE when we could just go after Tebow? 🤪 Didn't know much about him pre-draft, but the more I learn the more I like. Just watched him interviewed for the first time and he seems like a genuinely good dude. Buffalo connection doesn't hurt either.
  10. Wanted JOK, but rarely disappointed by building the trenches.
  11. As an Irish fan, I can’t help but get Jimmy Clausen vibes
  12. What ever happened to all that Hunter (MIN - DE) chatter? We traded, among other things, a 1st to them last year for a vet.
  13. I'll pretend what I meant was to go by the draft location's time zone, not just Buffalo's
  14. Cheers to that! (Although Draft Day Afternoon now) I agree tough to tell, but if we stay at 30 I think it'll be Vera-Tucker, Barmore, or one of the CBs. Many will have their pro-or-anti-Beane-pick role picked out well before draft time...
  15. Nah Pats* want Pitts. 3TE sets 80% of the time.
  16. My first, last, and only simulation this year (thedraftnetwork): 30) A. Vera-Tucker [OL - USC] 61) J. Ossai [DE - Texas] 93) T. Tremble [TE - Notre Dame] 161) K. Vincent, Jr. [CB - LSU] 174) J. Hawkins [HB - Louisville] 213) S. Brown [CB - Michigan State] 236) D. Felton [WR - UCLA] I would definitely be happy with this one - how about you?
  17. If the players available are closely graded, then I would hope we can go OL, DE, or CB. Don't feel the value is there at 30 for the offensive playmakers.
  18. Seems like most mocks I see have Samuel gone (along w/ Horn) by the time we pick.
  19. I really haven’t scouted (if you’ll allow me to abuse that term) much this year, so this is really just me parroting others, but it seems like the names I’ve heard the most for 30 are Newsome, Farley, and Stokes. Injury concerns for the first two, but if that makes them slide and the team likes the medicals enough (big if), then it would seem to be good value.
  20. My favorite possibilities are a CB2 or Vera-Tucker if he's there.
  21. He also said Allen might be at the top of the list, so he was not even really making that claim in full. I do still think, made man or not, it does not hurt for Palmer to highlight his most recent QB guru success story.
