Is Jerry Hughes a future Wall of Famer?
JohnBonhamRocks replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Was too young to remember watching Hansen play, but can definitely recall Schobel being very solid consistently. It’s a shame he never got much more than Kelsay/Denny (sp?) across from him - just missed Jerry & Mario by a few years. IMO next defensive lineman on the Wall is probably Kyle Williams. The blue collar style, longevity, leadership, and fact that he symbolizes the transition to this post-Drought era, all make it a lock. -

I don't think he will unless he finishes extremely strong his last however many years here. He has been rock solid, but not exceptional. I feel he and Schobel would have similar shots at making it and I don't see either getting there even though I really like both players. Hope I'm wrong honestly. Then again Hansen is in and purely statwise (which I do not think is the end-all-be-all) I don't see him all that much higher above either. -
1. Chiefs 2. Browns 3. Bills

I gave you a thumbs up. Not because I agree with your conclusion (I think it is still Chiefs, Bills, Browns until Mayfield shows he can play at the Mahomes/Allen level), but because it was well reasoned, and I do think you can make a strong case that, while all three teams retained their own well, KC and CLE did more to improve their rosters. Just not enough to close the overall team talent gap given the QB play and importance of that position. -

Whoever remaining has the highest RAS at the most expensive positions - welcome to Buffalo! -
That argument is flawed because McDermott’s scheme does not require a top end CB2 and other than White the DBs on our team that figure to be major contributors this year were all taken 4th round or later. We don’t know on Jackson (similarly to how we don’t know on any draft pick), but McBeane seem high on him.
-
Yeah I have not suggested and would not suggest involving anything higher than a 4th next year. That’s just if they really like a guy and see the need to move up. If we do want to move up, then I’d ideally like to involve only picks from this year.
-
On WGR they said you could give up 61 and 93 to get to about 48.
-
I'm not necessarily pushing that exact trade, but if a player falls I could see McBeane giving up some picks this year and next year to go up and get a guy they like as they have done multiple times. One thing I keep hearing that I generally agree with is that the Bills' current roster is currently pretty filled out, so trading up for one quality player makes more sense this year because he would be more likely to make the roster. Keep in mind there will be players picked up after the draft, both current and future FAs and UDFAs.
-
No clue how accurate they are, but using drafttek's trade value chart: 61 = 292 93 = 128 161 = 25.4 174 = 20.2 213 = 4.6 236 = 1 and 45 = 450 61 + 93 = 420 in value, so if we're doing equal value, then we would just have to add 161 and 213 to get to a total of 450 in value. Then we still would have 174 and 236. And that's without factoring in possibly adding a mid-round 2022 pick.
-
Could include a few of our late round picks this year that would have a real uphill battle making the squad anyways
-
I am fine with rolling with this current offensive line, but would love to get a guy who would be Morse's long-term replacement and also able to push Ford and/or Feliciano at G this year.

What a draft for the Jags if they land Lawrence, Etienne, Barmore, and JOK... dang.
