Allen did not have a good game as a passer. That said, he was phenomenal as a runner and made the passing and running plays he had to make like on 3rd and 4th down conversions. The INTs happened as they will with a QB who likes to push the ball downfield, but he otherwise played high level situational football making key plays on the 2 Singletary TD drives.

I think over the course of the game I want Zen Josh from the commercial. But for 1 yard on 1 play I want Angry Josh.

If you think top tier QBs like Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, etc., can make it work without full supporting casts, and you think Allen is in that their, then you should think the same of Allen. Just let him loose.

Gabe Davis seems to fill this role as well. Uses his body to position himself well. Can win in the middle and on the sideline. That’s not to say we need some help in the red zone because clearly we do. I do think, regardless of the red zone struggles, of any WR role we try to get this off-season it will be that twitchy separator who is Beasley’s heir apparent.

Poll oversimplifies the issues, but I said better players because we lost those games primarily as a result of our lines being outmatched.

Checks the “reflect the fanbase” box. Interesting about Amtrak if that’s true. Most logical explanation I’ve seen for the train horn - money talks.

Obviously all Buffalo’s struggles can be attributed to the 3rd down train horn. Many have voiced displeasure with the train horn, but I recall few suggesting what should be done/played on 3rd down instead. Thundering herd of Buffalo buffalo? Something similar to the Sabres goal horn? Just play the Wilhelm Scream on a loop? Any favorite 3rd down noises / approaches from around the league, college football, or other sports? For example, at Notre Dame the students take out their keys and shake them to make noise on 3rd down. I think something that reflects the fan base and region would be ideal. Interested to hear your thoughts! (Hate to feel like I have to give a disclaimer, but yes I am aware there is a 2019 thread about this. Figured 2 years is long enough.)
