A couple of those were awful. Our DBs just had a hand on the WR’s hip with no jersey grabbing which is 100% allowed.

We definitely don’t suck on defense though. To me it’s coaching not personnel.

I hear you, but it’s not like KC’s defense played way better than ours. Thirteen seconds is handled differently or the coin lands on the other side and we’re talking about how our D did just enough to keep us in the game. I will say for the investments made, our defensive line should be generating more sacks. I was going to say pressure, but you can pressure Mahomes for 8-9 seconds and he will still make a play at the end. Need sacks.

Allen is our answer to Mahomes.

The question I keep asking: why rush anyone? Give Mahomes all the time he wants (13+ seconds) and play coverage.

It’s crazy the AFC has Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, & Herbert, plus strictly talent-wise Watson, not to mention possibly adding Wilson and/or Rodgers if they end up on the move.

I think we’re at the very least nearing the discussion of Diggs Davis being 1A and 1B not just 1 and 2. For whatever that distinction is worth.

Other than those questions, I cannot help but be optimistic about this team. Gut punch loss that sucks. No two ways about it. But we have not only a franchise QB - we have easily a top 2-5 QB in the league. Stacked young roster. Amazing organization. Nothing stopping the Buffalo Bills from being Super Bowl contenders the next 10+ years. Next season the AFC goes through Buffalo.
