If you think Diggs’ blocking when he is across the field from the ball carrier is anywhere close to a problem for the Bills offense then I do not know what to do for you bud.

OK I did. First play he blocks his man for 2-3 seconds while Cook fumbles on the other side of the field. Second play yes he does not try to go to Davis who is on the other side of the field (albeit not as far as Cook was on the first play) and about to go down with 3-4 Broncos around him; Diggs’ DB was not involved in tackling Davis. Third play he stops blocking when again on the other side of the field it is clear that Murray cut it outside and away from Diggs whose DB again ends up nowhere near the play. It is common for WRs/DBs who are nowhere near the ballcarrier to half-heartedly block each other. Diggs is not the problem.

In what way is he a problem? What plays did he take off? I’d be interested to see any replays if you can provide them.

Mostly agree except I think Cook, Kincaid, Diggs, Shakir, and (if ever he were to get the ball) Harty provide average to above average YAC potential as far as each of their individual talents are concerned.

I’m on board with this if the penalties are akin to those given to someone for their last place fantasy football league finish. For example, after his 3 fumbles, Cook would have to sell lemonade while wearing a dress in Delaware Park.

Nope, I use my travel mug from that game 1-2x/week and start those mornings remembering the JA17 snap fumble and Lewis not knocking it down. (Absent being a Bills fan, it was a great football game.)

Dorsey, see door. Right before that left deep out INT play (a bad decision/throw by JA17), a fan behind me (I think of DEN) said “let me guess double deep outs” which then happened. Predictable. Unimaginative. Designs that strike fear into the hearts of no one save maybe some Bills players and fans. Interested to hear Diggs’ take on this. Anyone know if Brady prefers booth to field? I think JA17 needs someone in his face and chewing him out like those Daboll clips.

They do make big stops, and that is without 3 pillars on defense, but after they have been on the field all game yes they expectedly struggle toward the end. Like has been mentioned, the defense also gets regularly screwed by being given short fields and yet still holds up often. Once again, this is on the offense. Edit: I will say that someone has to stop slathering our defenders’ arms in butter pregame. Never seen so many missed sacks and tackles, and under a defensive-minded HC.

Not seeing how it wasn’t either incomplete or a fumble. Would have been nice to see a challenge flag thrown there.

Imagine if our offense lost Diggs, Morse, and Cook for the year, and Dawkins’ level of play suddenly fell off a cliff. That’s the equivalent of what our defense is dealing with having lost White, Jones, and Milano for the year, and Miller not returning to form.
