  1. Seems like some innocent people could get caught up in that, seeing as I'd probably drink a lot of water and/or Gatorade if I were preparing for a day on which my physical talents will earn or lose possibly millions of dollars. Then again, same logic for not doing drugs during that same time period.
  2. "Then put your little hand in mine. There ain't no hill or mountain we can't climb."
  3. Dilute sample = testing positive? To me, this sounds more like something happened that prevented credible results, such as using fake urine. That would be different from straight-up testing positive for X/Y/Z.
  4. Really hoping he is our pick at 44. Could be our TE2 and WR2, plus he can contribute as an H-back. This is a thread about Andre Reed, but the more apt Reed comparison here is Jordan Reed.
  5. The 4-3 vs 3-4 debate is missing the fact that nickel is nearing 70% of NFL defensive game play.
  6. 2nd Engram TE/WR Ole Miss Robinson OT Alabama Tankersly CB Clemson Moreau CB UCLA Baker S Washington 3rd Webb QB Cal Butt TE Michigan Smith-Schuster WR USC Jones CB Washington Evans S Texas A&M
  7. NYJ: W @CAR: L DEN: W @ATL: L @CIN: W BYE TB: W OAK: L @NYJ: W NO: W @LA: W @KC: L NE: L IND: W MIA: W @NE: L @MIA: L so, 9-7 or... ask me after the draft
  8. Wonder how many drug tests the NFL schedules randomly for 4/21 annually...
  9. "It certainly has been a whirlwind since I got here, and while I may not know a lot about hockey, the fact that Terry and Kim already trust me to helm both the Bills and the Sabres is truly humbling..." I mean, he could work closely with Russ Brandon for both teams. Plus, maybe we can try out Dareus in goal and Ennis returning kicks?
  10. 600+ total yards and 9 total TDs is worth the higher tender OBD chose not to give, despite knowing of the possibility of an offering team structuring an offer this way because OBD did that with Clay If Gillislee, as he is now, were available with our 5th round pick, then I take him over any other HB who figures to be available
  11. McGahee, Parrish, Maybin, and Spiller come to mind as far as somewhat recent drafts go.
  12. Would be oh so very pleased with this: 1: R1P10 S MALIK HOOKER OHIO STATE 2: R2P12 TE EVAN ENGRAM MISSISSIPPI 3: R3P11 CB SIDNEY JONES WASHINGTON 4: R5P12 EDGE JOSH CARRAWAY TCU 5: R5P27 EDGE KEIONTA DAVIS CHATTANOOGA 6: R6P11 CB BRENDAN LANGLEY LAMAR
  13. He can pattern his play style off Marshawn Lynch so long as he doesn't pattern his eating pattern off Karlos Williams.
  14. I would pay $4M for a 26 year old player who totaled 627 yards and 9 touchdowns. $#!+, many, including me, were willing to shell out $6-8M/year for a 25 year old player who totaled 619 yards and 1 touchdown.
  15. Have no problem with it, but the distinction for me is between "second team" and "another team" in that the former seems to indicate preference for the Bills over the second team and the latter seems to indicate possibly rooting for that team over the Bills. I feel for the Browns and kind of root for them unofficially because of the familiarity between fanbases in wearing bags on their heads... the struggle. But I'd never root for them if them winning adversely impacted the Bills. Also agree it is easier to hold a second team in the NFC because there are less chances for conflict of interest. I root for the Lions because I have family that loves them. Also the similar familiarity between fanbases. To me, all teams are second to the Bills... always.
  16. Hooker > Adams > Allen . . . for the Bills Would be happy with Allen if Hooker and Adams were taken. Hughes-Dareus-Allen-Lawson with Williams and Washington subbing in is Super Bowl Giants-like overall talent/depth. Regarding QBs (and most other positions depending on the depth in the draft), it only takes one taken early to make teams run on them. Could make #10 more valuable.
  17. 1. Hooker 1. Allen 2. Foster 3. Mahomes 4. Howard 5. Davis
  18. YOUR PICKS 1: R1P10 LB REUBEN FOSTER ALABAMA 2: R2P12 TE EVAN ENGRAM MISSISSIPPI 3: R3P11 WR ZAY JONES EAST CAROLINA 4: R5P12 S MONTAE NICHOLSON MICHIGAN STATE 5: R5P27 CB BRENDAN LANGLEY LAMAR 6: R6P11 QB CHAD KELLY MISSISSIPPI
  19. Sincerely wondering: what makes you think Poyer is a lock to start? By his lack of production and smaller contract, I assumed he was S3 at best.
  20. While I don't mind this draft, I prefer football players over athletes. Not that they aren't good players, but the focus seemed a little too Combine oriented. I like Reddick, and think his stock may rise to top 10, but agree it is ideal to trade back if he's our first pick.
  21. While this isn't that important, there is something to be said for knowing history and building community. It is good for our coach to know what made many of these legends fall in love with the region. Selling Buffalo to FAs and UDFAs is not necessarily the easiest of tasks.
  22. The phone call regarding this should be responded to with laughter, a click, and this noise:
  23. Yeah, I think I was banking on Z. Brown coming back. Any good 3rd round LB prospects of which I should be aware? Also I'd put S above CB, as I think they believe in Seymour on the outside, but cannot imagine they really believe in Poyer as a starter. Plus, CB is as deep if not deeper than S imho.
  24. "Mills doesn't even touch the speed rusher off the edge and -- ugh -- looks like they're bringing out the cart..."
