  1. DJ Lance in da haus
  2. Skipped pages 2-5, but kind of doubt I missed much in the way of new content. To get back to the issue in the thread, I do think who has the final say on the 53 man roster is important and something a Bills fan would reasonably care about as well as feel some justified entitlement to knowing about. If the answer is Beane, then control of the team is more evenly apportioned. If the answer is McDermott, then he obviously has complete control. There is a difference between the two, although not one that should impact who would get canned given the matched contract lengths. The difference speaks more to whether or not Beane is a true GM. If Beane does not have control of the final 53, then would his position not be better described as head of football operations, director of player personnel, or something similar. If the answer is anyone other than Beane or McDermott... yikes Probably answered in a press conference, so please forgive me in advance, but does the head coach still report to Brandon like did Marrone? (link) (Of note, and per that link, I was unaware that Rivera reports(ed?) to Gettleman.)
  3. Not pro- or anti- Whaley, but sinceriously wonder if he knows about this rule.
  4. If this happened, then Beane would have gotten canned. How do you all feel about canned Beanes?
  5. Not a rebuild, but a reprocess
  6. The Bills would hit a homerun when they're trying to score a touchdown.
  7. Cover him in ketchup and mustard, and behold his transformation into . . . Pinto Beane!
  8. Poyer worries me more than either Dawkins and Jones. Would be nice to have flexibility of targets in Watkins, Jones, Holmes, Clay, and Barnidge, not to mention the halfbacks.
  9. per Bills app: Wood, Groy, Incognito, and Schmidt partied with Barnidge for the Derby, recruited him to come join the Bills; Wood and Barnidge and Wood played for three years and roomed together at Louisville; Wood organized the Derby outing
  10. so do we think Beane favors drafting QBs in the first round, or does he prefer to dumpster dive in the latter rounds? discuss
  11. Darby, White, Seymour, Wright, Johnson, Roberson is my best guess.
  12. Byrd or Boston just because I'm not exactly thrilled with Poyer starting. Would love Barnidge, but don't think we can outbid eleven other teams.
  13. I think there will be better value available later in the offseason.
  14. Agree fully, the opportunity to participate in the interview PROCESS is valuable. Plus, in this specific situation, the Pegulas have shown, through their hiring of Rex Ryan, that they can be blown away by a personality. So, once you get your foot inside the door, you never know.
  15. Yup. Changing directions isn't going to help someone lost in a forest and trying to get out.
  16. it's official - once we find the right people, we should try to keep them
  17. Sal Capaccio ✔ @SalSports NFL Network's @CharleyCasserly just said on @WGR550 he believes Zay Jones is an upgrade over Robert Woods. #Bills
  18. Sounds more like he's impersonating a cheerleader
  19. "Breaking News: In what seems to be a flub of paperwork, the Carolina Panthers have released Cam Newton and Luke Keuchley..."
  20. I had forgotten the name Leslie Frazier. Haven't heard a soundbite from him in a while.
  21. That is amazing. Also love that it says "FINAL TAKE" directly above their heads.
  22. Being called out by McDermott noticeably often makes me care more about why his play was so bad and less about how he can take criticism.
