  1. I'd like to see an organized team with a purpose.
  2. It's bound to go HB1 McCoy, HB2 Tolbert, HB3 Williams, anyways, like said. He will hopefully get minimal playing time, and when he does will be called on to be a McCoy replacement (both are supposed to be lateral and shifty backs, as Williams caused 44 missed tackles in 2014), but more importantly to just hand onto the ball. Do not feel as good about him as Karlos Williams or Gillislee.
  3. Rehkow... to win K, P, and KOS. Go from three roster spots with Carpenter, Schmidt, and Gay, to one. Good snapshot of transition from Ryan's mismanagement to McDermott's seeming efficiency.
  4. If he keeps to the pace he likes to run... they're gonna cover so much news!
  5. Nice write-up and thanks for the work. Wouldn't include Lawson in additions this year. He did play last year, so where should the line be drawn - 2 weeks? 4? 8? 12? Still, he does figure to be impactful. Would find it hilarious if we went from keeping a K, P, and KOS, to just Rehkow, who should compete with Haushka who misses XPs at a near-Carpenter rate. Otherwise, again, much appreciated!
  6. Spin doctors gotta try real hard to get negativity outta this one. Offseason stories, man...
  7. Remember too that most of our time will be in the nickel. Ragland/Hodges/Brown/Alexander/Humber to fill out what will mostly only be two linebackers on the field is more than fine by me. Still concerned about Poyer. Let's hope for another Lawyer Milloy-type release this offseason. Fingers crossed.
  8. Give me another safety to compete with Poyer and I'm all i-- ... enjoying the process of assembling this defense.
  9. FYI: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2011/profiles/gerald-hodges?id=2539293 Converted safety. McDermott likey.
  10. Wonder if the Clay knee bit is in the interest of making Buffalo more attractive option for Barnidge.
  11. WLB - Hodges/Humber MLB - Ragland/Brown SLB - Brown/Ragland/Alexander I can live with that. Not to mention hungry rookie back-ups.
  12. Echoing what others have said, but definitely concerned that this reflects the severity of Zay Jones' injury.
  13. Also immediately hoped this is unrelated to Jones' injury. His best year, 2013, he had 60 catches for 888 yards and 4 TDs, so he can produce. (http://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/15391/rod-streater) Combine has him at 4.46 40-yard dash, so that's not bad. 14. At 7 catches over 13 games played (math makes that 0.54 catches per game played), he could be used as a reception specialist just about equaling the value of a Jordan Gay. Plus, he can lull opposing run defenses into a false sense of security.
  15. Don't know for sure, but it could be that he was told to do that and it was his job.
  16. Two things go into broadcast radio: talking and radio.
  17. This could be misleading based on cap room those teams have next year. Gotta remember a contract can always be structured to utilize projected future cap room now, somewhat similar to how we signed Clay.
  18. I'd be down for Jackson, Moulds, Schobel, Williams, and Moorman. We might not have won a lot of games in their time, but they still played their guts out for the Bills, were productive, and are fan favorites.
  19. Hoping we can see plenty of Taylor-to-Watkins circa first half of that game against the Chiefs in November 2015 (6 catches for 158 yards and 2 touchdowns). Now that's a lethal combination. The connection can be there. You know, before we decided to stop throwing the ball in the second half.
  20. certainly avoids the appearance of staff retention being forced upon the GM
  21. Similar to how McDermott approached assembling his coaching staff.
  22. To the points above - this should be an offense tailored especially for Watkins' strengths. He was totally a YAC guy at Clemson. Sure he's got a full route tree, but he has been underutilized on screens, end-arounds, and quick slants.
