  1. Red helmet!
  2. Yeah he’s always been talented. Hope he’s ok. Haven’t heard a peep about him since right after.
  3. About as happy as can be with him. Shore up those drops and I think he will he a top 5-10 back. Obviously best paired with a thunder to his lightning, which makes Moss’ departure and subsequent success look pretty bad even if we did get Hines in return who I hope has a bounce back year but is by no means a thunder. Also happy with Ty Johnson who was closer to an effective thunder. Could do much worse than Cook, Johnson, Hines. By the way, any chance we see Damien Harris back?
  4. We do have a recent history of jumping them in the first round…
  5. Kinchens looks nasty (so long as he always plays like his highlight videos!) My theory: McDermott forced a wrestling match between Addae and Butler for the job
  6. A few Cook drops definitely stick out! I meant more projecting Cook to the NFL before his rookie season, but… Last year, Kamara caught 75/86 (~87% and by far highest of his career which averages 79%) for 466 yards over 13 games played (~6 catches & 36 yards per game & 6.6 yards per target). Cook caught 44/54 (~82%) for 445 yards over 17 games played (~3 catches & 26 yards per game & 7.3 yards per target). I think they are pretty similar with a slight edge to Kamara last year. With both scheme and age probably favoring Cook next year, I bet that small gap closes.
  7. When researching Cook for his draft, and then after we drafted him, my hope has been that he be used like Kamara. Is he the same player? No, obviously not. But he has similar skills and should be utilized similarly.
  8. I do not know but would also like to know if there exists a database that has college WR separation stats
  9. No excuse not to Uber/cab/Tesla/etc
  10. Fortunate to have been to many games over the years so cannot recall most but this year was 1-2 (Ls vs DEN & KC, W vs DAL) and last year was 1-1 (L vs MIN, W vs TEN). Blowout wins and very close losses.
  11. I’m struggling to think of a single play that made me think “Wow that drop was because Allen threw it too hard”
  12. Seems like good value to me
  13. In what round is Brenden Rice projected to go?
  14. “Hit the QB a lot” is a strategy I like
  15. Bills vs. Lions in the first ever floating Super Bowl to take place on Lake Erie
  16. TIL I had no clue what Babich looks like.
  17. I think Jones is close to must have back. Changes our defense. Agree on prioritizing Floyd and Johnson. Would also not mind Edwards or Jackson back as both seem to have filled key back-up roles admirably.
  18. Only so many rookies going to make this team, Beane has been known to trade up, and, even though the cost of a 3rd (if that is the cost) would be a super tough pill to swallow, I think Kincaid’s success bought Beane a little leeway on moving up in the first for a pass catcher. Not saying I want to trade away a third round pick, but were we to come out of the draft with a top WR prospect from round one and potential starting safety from round two, then I think most would be happy.
  19. This. Brown and Beasley were both top 5-10 NFL WR separators when we brought them in and look what it did for JA17.
  20. I like Worthy better than Leggett personally so would be upset to see us take the latter before the former falls to NE.
  21. Hate making these comparisons but I watch Worthy and see Tyreek. Haven’t done a deep dive yet, but would be OK with Worthy or Coleman in the first round. On the fence about Leggett there.
  22. He is, which is why my post you quoted says that people who are saying he owned Brady in the second half are not far off. Just being balanced in pointing out that Brady’s play call had options open for either a TD or 1st down on maybe the most important play of the game.
  23. Three points: 1. Echo those who wish there was more thorough of a search. 2. If Brady came in as a lateral hire with the same résumé but from another team, then fans would be happy to hire a bright young offensive mind. 3. People saying Spags owned him in the second half are not that far off, but let’s not forget the 4 major drops and even then Brady’s play call had Shakir open in the end zone and Diggs open for a 1st down on arguably the most important play of the game, but the players did not execute.
