  1. Winfield for sure, if he counts. I feel like he's too big (in reputation, not stature). I really liked how Thad Lewis played for us in that he seemed to give it his all. Fitzpatrick seems like a guy I'd crack a beer with... over a game of chess. Also probably too well known. Joe Burns... because the name. Liked Bobby Shaw at WR for whatever reason. Mark Campbell caught everything, no matter if he was getting lit up, so he's okay in my book. Holzinger. Sanderson. Afinogenov. Wait...
  2. Heard Eric Wood yelled at him to give back some of that f'n money he didn't earn, too. He does that.
  3. Both drafted in 2014, so both have had the chance to play in 48 games - Watkins: 37 games played - Matthews: 46 games played Would you rather have Matthews 96% of the time or Watkins 77% of the time?
  4. Logan Thomas in favor of Wes Saxton Kevon Seymour
  5. Until the Bills are mathematically out of playoff contention, I root against the Patriots unless it goes against the Bills playoff chances.
  6. Don't mind the perceived undervalue many are complaining about so much. What I don't like is potentially making the team whose 1st round pick we own better this year. I know Ragland hasn't shown much, but I would hate to see him add enough to the Chiefs to make our pick worse.
  7. How is it that this line-up, or the same with Miller at RG, is abundantly clearly better to the vast majority of fans, yet the coaching staff still needs time? If there is any confirmation that the whole Ducasse experiment is due to Castillo's loyalty, then that coach needs to go.
  8. Loved the first throw, or one of his first throws, where he hit our WR on a slant by leading him and putting the ball just over the LB but just before the closing S. Peterman put that ball in the only window it could have gone into for a completion. For the record, I am still on the Taylor starting train. But gotta love seeing a rookie QB come in and display laser accuracy.
  9. Awful Jets team Week One is a good litmus test to see if this team will be competitive this year. If we're not clearly a better team, then... hey, 6 picks in the first 3 rounds!!!
  10. We're supposed to be an offense that uses 2 TEs anyways, but the play of Clay and O'Leary has been good enough to solidify that.
  11. Do we just have short QBs or is there some lack of offensive strategy that is resulting in all these balls batted at the line?
  12. An NFL offensive line should not be 3/5 Dawkins at LT, Ducasse, and Mills... ever. Not a knock on Dawkins as he's just a rookie and showed a good finish on that block recently, but I will feel a lot better if our Week One starting line is a healthy Glenn, Incognito, Wood, Miller, and Dawkins at RT.
  13. I'd take a playoff birth or a playoff berth, either one! Agreed though, we can make the playoffs with Taylor. Then, once you're in, who knows what could happen?
  14. Tired of the Kaepernick talk, but cannot wait for when a team signs him. And one will. Just watch the business side of the game talk when a starting QB goes down. That owner is going to run with Kaepernick over QB2 most likely.
  15. Wonder how he feels about Jeff Siemian...
  16. No matter who we draft and who the vet we bring in to compete (unless maybe Taylor), make sure we have safe walking mats. Free Kolb!
  17. Thanks for the work on this Don't see any team beating the Jets in the 2017 Tank-a-palooza. Also, definitely agree with the gist of this argument. Look at all the QBs recently who have had degrees of success and were not high 1st round picks: Prescott (4), Siemian (7), Bridgewater (1, but pick 32), Carr (2), and Savage (4). That's back through 2014. While 2013 sucked for QBs overall, look at 2012: Wilson (3), Foles (3), and Cousins (4). 2011: Dalton (2), Kaepernick (2), and Taylor (6). Point being, if we're not picking top 3, I'd almost rather we wait til round 2-4 and get "our guy." All depends on who is there though.
  18. Depends a lot on who we draft. Some guys are pro-ready, while others need some time to cook. For example, 550 was saying that Kizer might be starting, not just because Osweiler and Kessler are that bad, but also because he is seen as more pro-ready. Note: more pro-ready does not mean higher ceiling. Usually the opposite. Agree that no one should be handed the QB job, or any position job for that matter.
  19. MIA w/ Cutler > MIA w/ Tannehill
  20. I think the fans take care of blacking out enough the team need not add to it.
  21. Have loved Boldin as one of my favorite non-Bills because of how he plays the game. Really would have been tempted to buy his Bills jersey had he played. But cannot respect any reason more than what he gave, especially given current times.
  22. Don't know how many times I have to concede that, although we got just as if not more productive a WR back, we lost a more talented WR. If voicing a preference for production over talent, on a Bills message board, is trolling, then yes I'm trolling.
