ATL looked anything but unbeatable versus CHI, so again we could pull it off. NFC South familiarity for McDermott. CIN looks very beatable. Shut out by so-so BAL team at home. 2-2 is not out of the question and is a realistic outcome for the next 4.

Jordan Matthews (chest) is practicing in full for Week 1. This puts J-Matt on track to suit up Sunday against the Jets. I personally subscribe to the theory that they just kept him to the pocket so he could work on that during the preseason and plan to move him around much more during the regular season. But yeah, I don't think his height is ideal for passing from the pocket. Taylor at 6'3" would be better for sure, but I don't think his current height completely prevents him from effective pocket passing.

Just re: Taylor's running and associated injuries, I have noticed him be very aware of his surroundings when he scrambles. His head is usually on a swivel and he has the quickness to make a cut out of bounds or go down before significant contact. That's what I've seen most of the time. Really hope Dennison gets him on the move early and often this season.

Watkins has played in 77% of his games. Matthews has played in 96% of his games.

Still should have tendered him higher.

How well he fares could... could have just a bit to do with how well our offensive line plays. Enter Karlos. Enter TD Mike. Enter Rattlesnake Joe. It's all gravy.

Most of them suck. Honestly, cannot think of one who I really like more than dislike. I do, seemingly unlike most, really like and enjoy the WGR shows. I know they get a bad rap, but try effectively having your job be a baby of the movie Groundhog Day and the Buffalo Bills. The fact that they aren't committed to an institution by now is impressive alone. I think they're generally pretty funny and have a fair, balanced view.

Which is why a great part of getting Jordan Matthews is that he has missed 2 games in that time span.

^ Plus, re: Hyde and special teams, one would think with the amount of back-up players we are supposedly keeping on the roster for their special teams ability that we would not need to have starters on offense or defense also playing special teams.

Just "Stay down!" would work. I want to clarify that, of course, everyone should be compliant if there is an active shooter. It's about how compliant people are treated and whether all the treatment is necessary in effectively handling the situation.
