Puka is a boss. So glad I scooped him from waivers after Week 1! Also love that he’s a quiet “been there before” type. Let’s his play do the talking. Plus, he should have had another TD where he was wide open but Stafford missed him due to pressure in his face.

Hey, John as I mentioned to someone else if you’re suggesting activating him and placing Murray on the PS and replace his duties on goal line and pass pro, ok. You can’t have four active. Cook is the primary, Ty should be active for his speed, and Murray has been used for what I mention above. If you want to swap, ok. They won’t keep four active. You just have to look at historicals for the McBeane era.
All I was originally suggesting is that Bills fans may want to see Fournette in action based on his decent production last season, which you pointed out was behind an atrocious offensive line.Agreed on your point though, even if I might disagree with McDermott’s history of only keeping 3 active. Although I do think the Bills can and have kept 4 active before, albeit the 4th was usually Taiwan Jones for ST.

of you watched all of those games as I did, you’d know he ran into a brick wall throughout the season, and mostly because the Bucs O Line was atrocious last year. He looks slower than three years ago.listen, I live in Tampa so I watch every Bills and Bucs game. All 17 of them. Stays can be deceiving. Can you say you watched all 17 complete games,
not highlights.
My point is more about the speed of
Ty Johnson and the explosiveness of Cook, as well as the all purpose yards flr
him.
The bills don’t typically activate that many RB’s in game day. Cook, Ty and Murray fills all of their needs. Fournette was brought in as depth and insurance. He now knows the playbook, and maybe they activate him in place of Murray for a game.
There is a place and inactivate Murray. I’ll bite on that Einstein.
After you said you did not understand the fascination with Fournette, I pointed out stats showing good production last year. What I did not do was claim to watch all 17 Bucs games or even argue Fournette should be active. But your point that he ran behind an atrocious line last year makes his production more impressive. Wouldn’t need him to be as fast as he was 3 years ago, just to use his size and physicality, catch out of the backfield, and block. Agree that he’d likely replace Murray at this point.- 1

I don’t know the fascination with Fournette. His play dropped off in recent times and I had more than enough opportunities down in Tampa. He helped them the SB year, but when a RB loses his legs, they don’t come back.
Johnson has the speed we need, and compliments we’ll Cook. Especially after watching what Cook can do. If we need a banger play, you throw in Murray.
He had over 1000 scrimmage yards, over 70 catches, and 6 TDs last year.- 1

One of, if not the, best game I’ve been fortunate to attend as a Bills fan.
Too bad because all 4th quarter the only thing you could hear was Bills fans arguing amongst themselves - “Best since OJ!” & “No, best since Thurman!”

The Titans puked all over themselves, scooped it up, and fed it to the Dolphins

“These boots are made for walkthroughs…”
Btw, complementary football is what we want. Complimentary football would be Josh being like “James, what a great 2.5 yard carry! Proud of you, bud!”

Injuries are not an excuse.
We are 12 weeks into the season and our QB, RB1, WR1, WR2, WR3 and ALL FIVE of our starting o lineman have not missed a SINGLE GAME.
Do you realize how crazy that is?
Not making the playoffs this year would be a complete failure and year 3 in a row of regression.
To hear there is "zero" chance he gets fired, regardless of how the season ends, has to just suck the life out of you as a fan.
All fair points. I think he still will point to his overall record in Buffalo, the defensive injuries, and the presumably-Dorsey-caused offensive struggles, and possibly - by no means 100% - survives.- 1

Not really gung-ho on firing vs. keeping McD either way, but I do think he inarguably has a built-in excuse in the multiple significant injuries.

AZ Hail Murray belongs here as well
I know the prompt said it’s not based on McD’s fault, but I think it should be. Which is why I did not include Hail Murray (pretty fluky play) or Bengals playoff loss (just straight up overmatched). Hail Murray definitely has the Rushmore-esque dramatic flair.- 1

Beasley was excellent at reading coverages and finding the right spot in the defense to get open. Harty can’t do that
Would love if this offseason sees JA17 getting a new Beasley. That Welker type who he can throw to in 2 seconds for an easy 5-6 yards 9/10 times due to separation and like you said that feel for soft spots.
Wish Harty were better used for his YAC ability. He looked shifty on the 2 (?) screens we threw to him this year.

Wouldn’t need hindsight but for so many mistakes

Not sure he will be gone given that extension.
But if he is, then make Ben Johnson the next HC unless McVay is fired, and hopefully a defensive HC is also fired who makes sense at DC, Saleh being the pipe dream.
Edit: And do NOT get rid of Beane.

Always liked Goff, definitely a decent QB when there’s a competent run game to assist him. Last week was atrocious though… Dude looked rough! Been a little underwhelming the past 4 games out with the Chargers shootout.
I know. I started him over Lamar 😑 -
Tough not to like this Lions team, and that’s aside from having Goff, Sun God, and Gibbs on my fantasy team. Goff cast aside before the Rams win the Super Bowl and thought to be a bridge QB only. Campbell’s general vibe. How their offense operates. Lots to like. Odds are McDermott is back next year but if not Ben Johnson has to be a top target.

If a non-goal line situation, then let their OL by you and crush Hurts a couple times. Let Joseph recreate his WWE smackdown of Burrow.

I’m more focused on stopping Swift. If they cannot run, then I am fine with making Hurts enter a throwing competition with Allen.
